Wonderful chapter, even if it's a dark phase. Brian is starting to lean on Justin and Justin is not treating Brian like a child.

This story gives me so many feels, I can't handle it. I wish Brian trusted Cynthia enough, I think she'd worry about him for a bit at the start, but I think she knows him enough to know she shouldn't baby him. Brian is so frustrating (but I love him LOL)

Brian asking Justin if he'll be there made my heart go all bloppity blop, I love this side of Brian. It's what hidden underneath that tough shell of his.

Like I told you before, this is totally my kind of story and you are writing it like you have jumped into my head and written what I so want to read :)

Cannot wait for more x

Author's Response:

Thank you! I hope I’m pulling off letting that side of him show without pulling him too far OOC. :)

Difficult decisions. Having a support system in place will make it go more smoothly for sure, but this is Brian Kinney we're talking about. When have serious thing ever go smoothly?

Brian is talking to Justin his options and his fears and it's intense.

The bedroom scene is wow intense; Brian needing reassurance and Justin giving it . Thank you for this wonderful update!

Thank you for the update. Your writing is so expressive. The reader knows all the feelings the characters are portraying. I do hope nobody but Ted and Cynthia find out. I can't see Cynthia showing symphathy. She's a strong woman. That's not a trait of hers. That way, when Brian gets feeling too bad, and unable to go into the office, Ted and Cynthis can band together, and run Kinnetik. It almost brought tears to my eyes when Brian whispered, "Will you be there with me?"  How utterly hard those words must have been for him to say...

Loving this story...

Hugs, Cathy

Author's Response:

Cynthia is sort of a tough character, I think, because we see so little of her and never outside of work. Glad you’re loving the story! Thanks for taking the time to review!

Great update.  Wow to have to make those decisiions is really hard to deal with.  Now to start dealing with the treatment.

Wonderful update! Love that Brian is continuing to talk to Justin and discuss his options and his fears. Justin understanding that Brian wouldn't want to lose his hair and knowing that Brian had already made his decision even if he couldn't admit it to himself shows that Justin will be there to support him through whatever comes.

You nearly had me in tears with the bedroom scene. Brian needing reassurance and Justin giving it without delay.

*Hugs*

Deb

Author's Response:

Justin knows more about what Brian is thinking than Brian does himself, sometimes. ;) I wrote that bedroom exchange first and then wrote my way to it. Glad it was impactful!
