Well, this chapter was an emotional rollercoaster for me LOL. I am so relieved that Brian didn't push Justin away for good, and that Deb talked some sense into him. She gets him and understands the reasons he is the way he is and I freaking love that. She's seen him at his worst, she knows how to help. Sometimes you just need a cuddle from your mama, and that is what she is, his mama <3

OMG! Another emotional rollercoaster for the boys and me! So glad that Justin didn't let Brian push him away. Brian was in so much pain, not just physically, but heart sore pain. So, so happy that Justin turned to Debbie to help make Brian see the truth, that he is worth loving.
Loved how Deb talked to Brian without yelling, without badgering him or berating him. She spoke to him like a true mother. Love the way their relationship flourished.

I didn't even keep dry eyes while writing it...so, probably not. It was just as gut wrenching to write as it would have been to be there, I think.

Debbie was the only one who would be able to get through to him in that moment, I think. His mind was made up, even though it wasn't really what he wanted, it was what he was going to do. She would be the only one to tell him exactly what he needed to hear.

OH MY! You Forgot the: MAJOR TISSUE WARNING!
I was so happy that when Justin left it was to get Debbie. If anyone knows Brian Kinney better than himself, it's Debbie. Brian needed the hug she gave him, and he really needed the speech she gave him regarding his parents and how he saw life the wrong way. I was happy when she compared Brian to Vic, so Brian realized he would be fine in the end. He wasn't living a death sentence. And making him realize why Justin was there with him, well that was good.
Brian also needed to hear Justin's reasoning as to why he turned down Hollywood. And Brian said those three little words, and the sky didn't fall down. Brian's kind of like Ted. It's a different scenario, but you have to admit you have a problem, in order to ask for help. Brian needed to admit to himself, that he loved Justin. And to tell Justin he loved him, if for no other reason to accept the help Justin was willing to give him.
I can't believe there is only one more chapter left of this story. I am going to miss it so very much. If that's the case, maybe we won't have to hear from Michael and Lindsay again.
Thank you for writing this awesome, heartwarming story. A story of hurt, pain and love. So Very Much Love.

I did give the tissue warning in the FB group...I promise! I cried when I wrote some of this chapter. I can write a lot of angst without crying, but this was not one of those times. I just love Debbie’s surrogate mother relationship to Brian, which is why I like to play with it in my writing. She sees through his BS and will tell him like it is. My main arc for this story had to do with Brian realizing he was capable of and deserving of love...so it seems like it’s a natural time to end. But we will have an eventual sequel to look forward to! Thanks to your awesome bunny.
