I'm not surprised that Gus figured it out.  Emmett was my guess.  I'm glad to see that Michael is still an asshat.

This was such an exciting chapter. I figured Gus was suspicious, but I didn't factor in quite all of the reasons you pointed out. Big error on Quinne's part to not inform Qianna on the ways she talks to her brother. I was confused about the way Gus was saying something about how Qianna should have ignored Michael regarding the comic book, and Qianna's apparent lack of thinking the drawings looked terrible and rudimentary. So I looked back and I found it in Chapter Two with Quinne saying,  And he and my Uncle Michael have been working on this comic book together for the past year or so that they want to try and get published. That says nothing for Gus' drawing ability and the fact that he's going to PIFA. It also tells me Michael hasn't got any vision or imagination to create, when it didn't center around Brian and Justin's life. And they've been doing this a year? Wow! Michael also made it sound like Quinne usually gave him input on the comic, so why would Gus find that strange? Or was it the length of time Qianna actually sat there?

Loved Ted's description... Trim, silver fox of a man. Teddy always was a good-looking man. I loved his almost slip on the tongue when he was going to compare Qianna to Justin. That's probably why Michael didn't want to say her hair looked good.

So, will Gus help his sister's out with their deception? Will he be able to fill in more about Brian and Justin's relationship? (maybe he should ask Lindsay about them.) Who else will notice? I'm thinking Emmett, with as much "girlfriend intimacy" they share. After all, if Carl noticed Qianna's less than exuberance demeanor, it would be amazing if Emmett didn't pick up something, too.

Looking forward to more of this, although I understand why you have time constraints right now. Meanwhile, I have to wonder how Quinne is faring with Yeti.

This was a fantastic chapter.  Now they have Gus to help them out.  Sorry you had to skip NaNo, but glad you did.  As I said before you are an amazing writer.
