Vanilla Cake Batter... This was just absolutely charming. I assume it's going to be a series story because under 'completed' it said, 'no'. So I'm excited to see what you come up with the second chapter. I'm looking forward to it.

It wasn't originally going to be a series but as I was posting this I got another idea that I thought would be fun to write so yeah. Maybe another chapter or two. Honestly Brian is just whipped.

I'm glad that Brian realized why his favorite scent was missing and I'm sure that Justin is happy that Brian likes his scent the way it was.

One of my favourite 'love theory' theories is that you're attracted to people based on therir immune system and how that effects their body odor. Basically: your perfect match is soemone with the complete opposite of what you have immune system wise and for some reason, you're attracted to their smell because of that. I know that's not the scientific way of explaining it but I'm hoping you get the point. This is fiction. We can change cold hard facts if we need to.
Brian has an almost indestructable immune system while Justin's having allergic reactions to the change of the wind and he's probably catching colds every time he brushes up against someone from another part of town. So, take all that and put it into a fluffy work of fiction, and you have a weird little soulmates au I guess.
Ethan, of course, doesn't have the same immune system as Justin but he doesn't find his smell attractive. They never would have worked out really. Just based on soulmate science. That's a thing. I just made it up.
