Yay!  They told off Mikey.  Now Jenny needs to learn that Ben will always be there for her even if he's not with Michael.

Michael is looking for scapegoats to blame for why he is being excluded and refuses to hear that His Actions, not Justin, Drew or even Blake's are to blame.

Holding out for Brian doesn't mean he is going to push Justin away, love doesn't work on fantasy land no matter how many stars you wish upon.

Ben has made a decision and Michael is the one who has to fight, saying I Love You is easy when the meaning isn't real, it's meaning I Love You that is harder.

Michael can hurt others without a care in the world because he is unhappy, he refuses to see past fourteen in the mirror and three in his mind.

Jenny avoiding Michael should break his heart because no child should despise their father, but she can't be the parent to her own father who would rather whine because no one is watching him 24/7, Ben is doing good by showing and letting Jenny know she isn't forgotten by her Papa.

Brian, Ted, Emmett and Deb talking to Michael and explaining why they don't want him around shows where their priorities lie and how Michael has to depend on himself, whether he listens is up to him but their words lifted the weight of Michael Novotny permanently off their shoulders.

Gus is a conscientious young man who doesn't want to see anyone hurt especially his sister, he is very much his Fathers Son:)

Thanks for the Update.

Thank you, thank you, for that showdown in the Diner. Some hard truths were said. But, isn't it just like Michael to say,“Did Drew and Justin make this decision?”  It's like he thinks Brian and Emmett can't think for themselves. I'm surprised Michael didn't include Blake in that sentence. I ALMOST have to hand it to Michael, for sitting through everything Emmett said, instead of getting up and leaving. Which would have fit with the Michael Novotny we all know. Run away from your problems, instead of facing them head on. The big question is, will he take to heart what he was told, or will he dismiss it, and continue to try and assert himself into their lives?

I can only imagine what kind if horror everyone will deal with, if Michael finds out the plans to go to Disney. Especially, since Ben will be going too. It's pretty pathetic when an eight year old doesn't even like, or want to be around their father. I can understand children feeling that way, if their parent is abusive, which Michael isn't. Although when I think about it, he is in his own way.

Are Deb and Carl going too? Michael won't try to follow them, will he? I can just see him showing up at Disneyland/Disneyworld, ignoring everything he was told.

I really felt bad for how deeply all ths affected Gus. He's way too young to have to feel this way. Although, I did get a chuckle when he referred to all of them as his posse.

Thank you for this wonderful update to this touching story.

Whoa, that was drastic and so much need: I hope the guys' intervention at the diner will be enough for Michael.
