Good Chapter. So happy Billy opened up a little to Justin. Now they all have some base point as to were to start with helping the boy's heal and grow from their past.
Hehehe... I KNEW Jen would be pissed about the dog comment. Gus and Hunter in on the little 'private' joke was cute. It's not hard to see how everyone in the family feels about Michael. I have to wonder just how much it bothers Deb.
Will we be hearing from Michael soon, so we can see how Jenny is faring?

I really like the way this story is progressing. Emmett's take on how the faminly has always used Brian is spot on. And couldn't Billy and Colton actually stay at Emmett and Drew's quite often, instead of Emmett being at Britin all the time? Like a couple nights during the week and the weekends? Brian and Justin should also put Emmett and Drew's name as emergency contacts at the school. Also, very happy Emmett is going to put off shopping until the boy's can go with to pick out their own clothes. The boy's will probably try to not ask for too much, though. Hopefully, with Emmett's encouraging, they will get over that. They will probably have the time-of-their-lives once they relax.

Max is a sure thing and Billy and Colter are an almost. Looks like Ted and Blake are getting into the swing of things too. The only problem is Michael. Maybe the kids can explain it to him.

Another sweet chapter. Max' thought of why he liked spending time with Allison and Megan was super cute. They were the only people who were shorter them him too.
Billy and Colton still being wary of Drew and Emmett just go to show what they been taught in life too. Can't depend on anyone.
I think Blake will be giving that call to his sister soon. That way Blake and Ted can have a child who's a little of both of them.
Michael wasn't as sarcastic as I thought he would be. But I see he thought it was just something Justin wanted, but Brian didn't. He is so self-centered. And when he told Brian, Ben and I had to do that for Hunter, he made it sound like a chore, and not something he wanted to do. Happy Brian hung up on him, but would have loved Jen hearing Michael say, Maybe buy Justin a dog... Well Michael. Maybe someday you will get your wish. Maybe they will by a dog for Max... But then again, a dog is a lot of work too. But loving something isn't a lot of work.

I already love Billy and Colton. You have picked three such very likeable boys. I can't wait to see their reactions when they get to Brian and Justin's and realize the party is for none other than their other brother, Max. Was happy when Colton said he liked Max.
Billy and Colton's star-struck expression, and their inability to speak was so cute. If they think spending the day with 'Drew Boyd' was awesome, wait until they find out they can live with them someday.
So apparently next chapter we get to hear Michael's rant on the pending adoption. Too bad Michael won't be there to hear everyone's opinion of him after trying to tell Brian how he's ruining his life, how he never wanted to be a full-time father, telling him he wasn't cut out to be a father, and this was just Justin's way to trap him. Yeah, I can imagine all the horrible things his hatefulness will spew forth. This way, Brian can hang up on him when he starts in. Or, better yet, he should hand the phone over to Jennifer. I feel so sorry for Ben and Jenny to be put in this situation and having to deal with him. This is going to be the worst week of Jenny's life.

Max missed so much in his short life. He's so cute I his worry of not seeing his Dad and Pa. Jenn will make sure he knows who and what a Nana. I agree with Lindsay that he needs a friend. Matthew fits the bill.
Emmett ad Drew are good men. The boys will be lucky. Funny how well Drew kows him. "My cave, my problem.". He knew Em needed to talk.

Okay... I rechecked your tags and there is nothing stating this story causes emotional wreckage when you read some of these chapters. Max' insecurities in his life for one so young, is so difficult reading about. And then how connected he felt with his Nana right away was something else.
What is Hunter's profession, that Lindsay suggested he be the one to do the tutoring? I'm aware Hunter can relate on an emotional level, unlike any of the others, but does he have the skills for teaching? That will be another thing that will chap Michael's ass.
Emmett and Drew have really big hearts. Drew's like Brian. They will do anything to make their loved one happy. I thought maybe Ted and Blake would have taken one of the kids in, but so happy Emmett will get the two of them. He certainly has enough love in his heart for both Billy and Colton. Can't wait to meet them.
