Gus is pissed with J.R.'s mom. I don't blame him. Melanie is as selfish as they come. You always bring the most characters into each chapter.

Author's Response: I imagine there must be a little resentment about Gus' father and the relationship Brian and Lindsay have.

Poor Gus: I'm wondering if Mel resents him for being Brian's son; she cannot even think about him going to be away when she will come. She doesn't want to admit that she isn't fair.
What Mel doesn't see is how close Lindsey and Brian are together once again, now that she's not there to spite them and remind Brian how little she sees him. This is a great relationship.
