Have you watched a girl called Makayla on Youtube, she also has a SCI (I believe her neck) and I love watching her videos with her trainer. They work so hard and it's amazing the things they have managed to achieve.

I am glad Brian is allowing Justin to look after him a little more.

I know you have finished this story, but I would LOVE a one shot where Brian gets himself a standing chair. My friend raised money for one and it's amazing. She saw so much improvement in her legs and she stopped getting pressure sores. Also, for him to be taller than Justin again would be so cute.

True-  it does tell how they met-  Brian in a coffee shop- etc but expanding on their friendship -  Brian opening up to Rob- Rob pushing his buttons on his disability- any of those.

You could also explore a little about Brian's initial fear of telling Justin- the phone calls where he talked but didn't say anything.

I'll have to go through the story ( such a hardship ) and see if there are areas I would love explored.  I really liked this universe and you've done such a good job in it.

Maybe explore them going back and forth between New York and Pitts

Brian could become even more involved in accessibility - making more places accessible in New York or in the Pitts

Justin having another successful show and maybe getting an opportunity to show outside of New York- abroad- their fears of and excitement about that chance

I’m finally getting a chance to start this story. Yay! I love how detailed you get into Brian‘s condition – do you have a particular connection to paraplegia? TAG

Author's Response:

Yay, can't wait to read along as you make your way through the story! The subject matter was inspired by someone I knew years ago. I thought it would be interesting to explore with Brian, given the sort of changes it brings with it.

So happy to see a new part! Thank you!

It's painful to read how difficult it is for Brian to travel. The good news is that they are getting married with a small ceremony.

Is Brian trying to stand up on his own with his therapist?

Is Brian learning how to walk again? At least trying to stand up for the wedding?

Justin right about them not keeping secrets from each other, but to surprise Justin with that would be great.

I'm really glad you decided to continue their story.

Author's Response:

Thanks for reading! I'm excited about continuing too!

It's good that Justin is getting so familiar with how Brian is.  I have a feeling I know what Brian's up to, but I don't want to spoil the surprise.

Author's Response:

Haha...no spoilers here! ;) And I think it's just part of knowing someone intimately...understanding why they do what they do. And Justin has to rely on his observations mostly, here.

I love this story as much as the previous one. Great writing. Can't wait for the wedding. Thanks for deciding to continue it.

Author's Response:

I'm so glad you love it just as much! Thanks for reading!
