Thank fuck he woke up and remembered Brian. I don't know what I would have done if he didn't. My heart is in my throat though, ahh!

Nightmares are not fun and Brian seems to be having them all in one night is overkill.  I have had that myself, with dreaming I'm going on a trip and find out I didn't pack certain things I need.  I'm very happy that Justin is back with us and hope there are no lasting reprecussions.

Author's Response:

Brian definitely had a bad night! We will be learning more about Justin in Ch. 8...

Brian can't continue this way. Justin is going to be drifting in and out. Brian being stressed isn't good for either of them.

He can breath a bit easier knowing Justin knows him.

Author's Response:

Brian being stressed definitely isn’t going to benefit either of them! But it’s not avoidable in this situation, unfortunately. Thanks for reading!

Wow, what an amazing chapter.  Could feel all of Brian's pain as he waited.  It is exactly how the mind works when you are alone and the thoughts and dreams take over.  When my husband was in the hospital over 2 months before losing his battle to live.  I relived every bad moment in our 33 years of marriage.  If I wasn't thinking of them when awake, I dreamt of them with some as they were and some distorted.  I often wondered if that is how the mind helps us adjust to what is to come.  What is hard to accept is that you don't remember and dream of the good times.  So strange.  Thank you for your wonderful gift of writing.

Author's Response:

Thank you! <3  Our minds are definitely a confusing, powerful, yet wonderful thing in how unique they are and how they work. I’m sorry to hear about your husband! :(

of so wonderful.  What a wonderful way to celebrate their anniversary.  Now comes the healing and I can't wait for the remainder of the story.

Author's Response:

Thanks for reading! I’m glad you liked this chapter!

Another punch in the guts! Brian is going through awful nightmares, all too close to reality, past or present.

Thank you for giving him some reprieve with this end.

Author's Response:

Yes, just a little reprieve ;) There will still be plenty of drama coming up...
