If Deb had learned to step back sooner and let Michael take his lumps and learn to fix his own problems he wouldn't be such a Spoiled, Egotistical, Whiny Brat, like most parents who over indulged their kids she learned too late to say No and mean it, but Michael also should learn at thirty that behaving like a brat wasn't going to work Forever and that Friendship Doesn't Mean Ownership.I

I am sorry to see that Joan is going to do rehab I would rather Brian walked away but then again just because she agreed doesn't mean she will finish, I don't think Joan has realized that going to rehab means she can't drink so that tells me she won't last.

Justin and his reverse psychology got Joan to agree to go now can he use to it to get Michael to disappear forever? lol

Brian is letting Justin fight for and with him and he is seeing that love is wonderful when it doesn't come with conditions and when they put your interest and needs before their own.

First off, I have to revisit last chapter, as I forgot to point something out. My review included how I thought Ben and Brandon could meet the evening they have supper at Deb's, and/or later at Babylon. What I overlooked at the moment, and remembered after entering the review, was one very prominent line.

although he would love to see the officer who helped him again.  

Any chance the officer that helped Ben with the Paul situation - could be Brandon???  Ooh, Lordy, I hope so!  Let Michael's machinations bite him in the ass!

Okay, The old battleaxe and her termagant. Serves Joanie right to be arrested. The good ole Christian lady can have a DUI on her record. And just maybe a little birdie can whisper it in someone's ear at the church, and her downfall as a God-fearing Catholic woman might be jeopardized. It will be interesting to see on what you perceive as her punishment. Because even as a First Offense, Joanie  could receive jail time, community service, probation, fines, and even though it's a misdeamor, it can stay permanently on your record. (first hand knowledge here with my belated husband and one of my daughters.)  Will we get to see her go to court?

Claire, in her agitation, isn't looking at the big picture here. Brandon is saving face by having Joan sober up at the hospital. Would she rather have her mother hauled in to the police station and tossed in the drunk tank for twelve hours, while she sobers up?

It must get really old and tiring for Brian to always have to deal with their shit, and still be treated as a disease-infected low life. But he has Justin now, who sounds like he will put the women in their places, if they so much as condemn Brian about anything. It would do Joan good to remember one of the commandments: Love Thy Neighbor As Thyself.

THIS is another awesome story of yours.

Claire and Joan need Brian's money they could care less about him so why help when they can't be nice?

Brian is too nice to those two morons and their need to look down their noses at him and his lifestyle but they don't turn down the money, I look forward to Justin defending his man from those two bitter cows and Brian thanking him later lol

Brian is knocking down his walls for Justin and it is making him stronger because Brian trusts Justin with his heart.

So Joanie got arrested...and Brandon is taking care of the arrest. That's PERFECT!!! As always, I wanted to twist myself through a phone line and deck Claire. That entitled little harridan just rubs me the wrong way. She and Joan are cut from the same narrow-minded cloth. How they insult Brian, but then expects them him to bail them out of their mess has always stymied me. Well, let I hope St. Joan enjoys the proof that she's far from perfect with a nice big DUI on her record, and a jacked-up garage whose door probably looks as tore up from the floor up as Joan's drunken butt does.

Mel and Brian getting along is always fun to read. I've always believed that if they could just get passed their differences, they would find a lot more in common than they ever thought possible. I laughed aloud at the reference to the Apocalypse, but I don't think they have anything to worry about yet. Now if Michael actually gets a brain, or at least a clue... well then I would definitely start looking for those horsemen, LOL

Great chapter, Darling, and looking forward to MORE!

RUN, BEN! RUNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And don't stop until you get some damn sense! Getting involved with Michael is just asking for a lifetime supply of Prozac!

Loved the talk with Brian, Ted and Cyn. I simply love their dynamic with Cynthia putting them both in the hot seat. She's a pistol! LOL

As for the talk with Blake and Justin, sooooooo entertaining! I love that Em and Blake have a real shot of becoming friends here, separate and apart from Blake's relationship with Ted. Justin's Bri D-whipped and LOVING it! Five times instead of four, indeed! Now we just have to get Bran and Em hooked up with someone they could see their futures with. Yes, I'm a bleeding heart where them and this fic is concerned.

First I want to say, it's always a happy day when I see an update from you. Second, as soon as I got to the end, I had to exit back out to check your 'pairings' tags. Alas, I have to say, you have given us readers no indication where this is going. So, a few things I can see happening here. Ben will be taken in by the puppy dog eyes, and throw caution to the wind, or two, maybe Ben will had an encounter with Brian in the past, (canon) and Brian will blow any preconceived notions from Ben's mind.  And boy, can't wait to see Michael's reaction, when he realizes Brian's 'had him'. Or maybe, just maybe, Ben will see the fawning Michael will do at the dinner towards him, for what it is. Trying to make Brian jealous. (latter would be good here.) Oh, and I've got an idea. Since you have plans to hook Emmett up with Drew again, (YAY!) -  ooh la la, Ben and Brandon can meet at Deb's dinner(or afterwards at Babylon), hit it off, and get together. Boy would that have widdle Mikey really scowling.

Loved the take you took on the reason for Blake leaving rehab.  And, oh yeah, I definitely caught Justin's reason to not want to have Mel and Lindsay for over for dinner that night. FIVE times, instead of FOUR?!  Well, Justin, I'm pretty sure Brian can do both.
