Very disturbing and intriguing! I don't remember seeing "AU" in the tags. How is it that Justin and Brian don't seem to have a past together? Or is Justin amnesic? He seems to remember Ethan though.

I'm very perplexed: why would Mel ask Ted to be the father, but let everybody think Michael would be. How could Ted agree to that? Sorry, but I really can't find any reason for that to happen. Having a whiny, not so bright, meddling father instead of a reliable good friend?

All I can say is 'Wow! Another new story?' And it sounds so very good. [Just like all your stories.] I have to wonder if this means the ending of, Thief of Food and Hearts, is soon coming. I love the ideas you get for your stories. The plots are always so fascinating. I read through the tags, [loved the Anti aspects] and the pairings. I'm nerous. I HATE Justin/Ethan arcs. I hope it's a quick passing. Oh, and BTW, do we get another one of your beautiful banners?
But this was GOOD. Oh-so-good. I can hear the screeching and whining when widdle Mikey learns the truth. How much is his nest egg? And you go, Ted. But how is it, that Ted has not wanted to claim the rights to JR?
But just to claify a few things, is this suppose to follow canon, ten years after the end? That would put it at 2015. Gus would be fifteen. So if Gus was five when they left, they in Canada for four years, they've been back for two, that should put him at eleven. But he's older than that. Also, are Brian and Justin together at this time?
Was Lindsay receiving support money from BOTH Brian and Lynette? Or just Brian, and had called Lynette when she realized she was so low on money? And why pray tell, would Brian tell Mel that he'd be happy to give Lindsay first choice to the barn, when he had the perfect out with remodeling it for Gus? Silly Man.
Can't wait to see where you take this. And dare I ask, if this is the story you will insert the plot bunny I asked you about? I have high hopes here. I HATE ETHAN with a passion, so do your best, [which is awesome] and make him suffer slow and miserably. I look forward to the next chapter.

Hi Cathy,
THIEF is wrapping up but there a few chapters left to go - will be sad to finish that one.
I can assure you that the Justin/Ethan pairing is very brief, as in you hear about it never 'see' it. I think I have to go through the tags and remove some inadvertantly clicked, this is not supposed to be canon, its alt-canon and Brian and Justin will be together [they always are when I write them] but it just takes a wee while to get there, but let's just say mom knows best. No to the support from both just Brian, Lindsay of course was just being greedy and wanted money coming from somewhere so she didn't have to work. She and Lynette are both cut from the same cloth - greedy and spiteful and close in this story. Regarding the barn, he has told Mel that Gus can have the barn to stop Lindsay from moving in there to use it as her studio and never leave. Mel doesn't want Lindsay anywhere near Britin either.
Re the plot bunny, this was for another current story and I shall be using it no fear of that. Thanks for the inspo.

I was just writing to someone else how I could never understand Mel choosing Michael. He is not smart or supportive emotionally or financially. Ted is a much better choice.

I like Mel in this so far. Lindsay's being her sneaky skanky self as always.
Gus living with Brian and I assume Justin will be good. Lindsay moving onto the grounds of Britin is just asking for trouble. Big trouble.

Another new story by you. Oh jump for joy! So Linday's secret is she's refusing jobs and taking money from Brian? Mel's is that Ted is JR's dad and not Micheal. I'm liking where this story is going.
