Great story! I was afraid that it wouldn't end this way with NYC at the horizon.
I'm surprised that Debbie didn't storm in the loft to ask the asshole why he wasn't coming to the diner as often as before, then I remembered that she slapped Brian after Vic's death, so it was obvious why she didn't react.

I wasn't in a good mood when I started to read this, usually I'm a "get them back together NOW" kinda gal. But the entire time, even still after finishing I was hoping Justin would tell Brian "go fuck yourself...if I'm not good enough in the bad times then you don't get to have me in the good." And then just walk away.
Like I said, totally not me but I'm in a pissy mood and Brian pissed me off even more.

This was hard to write. On the one hand the
way it was portrayed on the show was hard to watch with Brian kicking Justin to the curb but it was all Brian. This story has Justin standing up tho Brian but still wanting to be there. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
