Aw I am so happy Brian asked Justin to hang out. This slow burn is killing me but I love it.

Also, it's normal for Brian to have those feelings, it was his dad after all. Even though he was a bastard, your emotions still sometimes go, yeah but he's my dad...

Author's Response:

The slow burn is really needed due to Brian not needing to get involved in a realtionship for awhile.

I like how Brian managed to answer Gus' questions about the money issue with his mothers; honestly without "trashing" the girls. Something that they would be unable to do if Gus asked them.

The part regarding Brian's father is interesting as well as it may help Brian see and understand why he "accepted" being used by his father for money and showing off the success of a son he never loved.

Author's Response:

I think Brian is very aware of the way he is portrayed by Mel and he wants to avoid having Gus question Brian's feelings.  Sometimes it just makes sense to delve into the past and make a reasonable explanation for Brian's behavior.

Love the way they're 'hanging out' so much. 🙂 TAG

Author's Response:

They are getting to know each other really well

Love how Brian and Justin are getting closer.  So nice that Mikey hasn't made an appearance lately demanding attention.

Author's Response:

My muses haven't decided if he shall make another appearance, but I'm enjoying his absence.
