An absolute tear-jerker, and a lovely way to end this story. I can so easily picture the final scene with people gathering on Liberty Avenue to celebrate Debbie's life and feel close to her spirit, forever linked to the diner and their Avenue.

Thank you! It's a tough thing to write but it is one of the advantages of keeping this story in this verse is that Brian is slightly more open, at least with Justin. I'm glad you liked it!

How horrible. Brian lost the only loving mother he's ever had. Justin lost a second mother too.
Felt Justin's pain trying to decide what to do to get to Brian as fast as he could.
Time to go home.
