It was nice to know just what caused Brian to get sick.  I'm glad that Melanie and Brian got along well.  J R's crush on Brian was too cute and Gus' reaction to it was so funny.

Author's Response:

Glad we were able to satisfy your curiosity there...haha. And we're glad you loved the story! Thanks for your comments and for reading!

Amazing story!!! From Brian baring his soul to Melanie to Brian letting go in front of his family, everything sounded right, plausible, real, emotional, funny, comforting. Brian and Melanie making kind of peace: that's the part I prefer because for the first time, someone dared writing it and so beautifully.

Justin was as usual very horny, loving and accessible to everyone, including Jenny Rebecca.

I also loved the way Melanie hinted Brian about the sheets that needed to get washed if they slept "too" much.

Thank you for sharing this!

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for reading and for your kind words! It makes us happy to read that you enjoyed it so much, and that everything rang true for you -- that's the goal! :) The Brian/Mel scene was something that just sort of happened as the story went on, but we love how it came out too. The "sleeping too much" line was PTW's...and I (TrueIllusion) loved it also...one of my favorites in the story...haha.

What a wonderful story.  Love seeing a grown up Brian and Justin and the changes in their lives.  Had food poisoning once and trust me it was the WORST thing I ever experienced.  Wishing for death seemed a good idea at times.  Three days of it and at least a week feeling like it was coming back at any moment.  You described it so well.  Fantastic writing.

Author's Response:

Yeah, food poisoning is definitely NO joke! I (TrueIllusion) know from my own experience, I had never experienced anything like it before and have not again, and hope not to! Thanks for reading and we're glad you enjoyed it! We love playing with this older version of Brian and Justin as well, as they've matured in their lives and their relationship.
