Thank you! :) I enjoyed writing that scene between them in the car, as Brian reiterates his promise to Cynthia, though she's having trouble accepting it.

Am I the only one who doesn’t like Cynthia very much right now? So she’s mad at a guy for wanting to marry her that she just might be pregnant by? And the fact that she’s not planning to tell him doesn’t paint her in a good light. She should at least give him the courtesy of letting him know what her intentions are. I’m sorry but she’s be pretty unfair here.
Do we get to know if she’s actually pregnant sometime soon?

At this point, since she doesn't know, it's not something she wants to bring up with him, but if she is, she will definitely have a lot more to think about than what she has at this point. And we will find out more soon! As for their relationship, Cynthia is a woman who is very career focused and knows what she wants out of life, and Rich wants something very different. Great chapter. Cynthia is hanging in there, but you can feel the toll it is taking on her. Wonderful writing. Will Monday never get here for her appointment. LOL
