So, Hooked up on this mystery. Glad Brian listened. Justin hopefully will derive more info about one of the culprits.

"He's with Me." It doesn't matter what Mel or other think about Brian. Even in Qaf, No one knew or cared for Brian like Justin. His two oldest friends Michel & Lindsy failed where Brian emotions were concerned.

Plot is really going good. Looking forward for More. ðŸ™‚

In regards to your 'chapter end notes'... if I can inject a suggestion... regarding NaNoWriMo... I presume Sally will be writing with you... so knowing she was 'excited' about a couple of past plot bunnies... (you can check her comments)...

#94: Brian agrees to attend comic-con... (not quite so heavy.)

#134: Brian severely beaten and left for dead... (Sally's comment was:)

HELLO, YES, SOMEONE WRITE THIS PLEASE, K, THANKS!

Under our current plots... #30: Justin goes missing in London... another good mystery!

And since I KNOW you love plot bunnies... I thought it was my duty as a reader to remind you of a few.

When Justin first started his 'explanation' to Brian, I'm surprised Brian lasted as long as he did... because I was ready to start shaking him, telling him 'shit or get off the pot'! What a drawn-out explanation!

I was totally floored by the number of people in the girls' house! Sure, they got kicked out... but, why were they allowed in there in the first place? I mean, hell... Brian and Justin had to show I.D. in order to enter... so ALL THOSE PEOPLE makes absolutely no sense!

Prior to getting the ransom note... I'm still surprised they kept referring to the kidnapper as a man... especially with it being an infant... as the majority of infants are taken by women, wanting to either 'have a child' ... or 'replace a child' they have lost... so yeah, why haven't they even thought of that possibility? Did they even look into current child deaths?

I loved the 'He's With Me' ... it reminded me of 'I'm going with him'. Keep up the good work! I'm loving it!!!

Wonderful update.  Love that Justin has gotten Brian to allow him to help.  Fantastic writing as always.

Well, just as I expected... this was a nice reward for getting up and going to work this morning.

I won't say much else... except I think the perpetrator is a "she" not a "he."

"He’s with me" reminds me of "I'm going with him" that Justin said to Michael after the hospital scene in S1E1.

Great update! Justin is back to the loft and could spend some more time with Brian as support / friend, despite what Mel thinks.
