First, I'm sorry RL is a pain... I'm FULLY aware of how that can play havoc with writing schedules. I hope it eases soon for you. That said:
Daphne’s a good friend. Even if she has to do the whole book report herself, I think she would do that, so that Justin is able to spend as much time as possible together with Brian.
It seems like you MIGHT have given us a clue… something we might see later on. Or, am I, once again, going off on a wild goose chase. Reading something in where there is nothing? The VERY VIVID description of: the black hoodie down over his head, and smoothed out the fabric, making sure the ‘Ironman’ logo across his chest was straight, Hmmm... did you do that on purpose?
But, Michael is such a sleaze ball. Why would he even think Brian would want to go out drinking when his son is missing? And Emmett seemed a little too much like thinking he had a chance with Justin. I wish Brian would have just shown them all to the door... and shut and locked it.

Wonderful chapter. Love to hate Michael. My favorite part of most stories. Sorry that RL is taking more of your time, but it is necessary. No matter what or when, we will be happily waiting for new chapters, Hang in there and enjoy the holidays as much as possible. Fantastic writing as always. Sending thoughts, love and fortitude.

I'm wondering if you did let 2 clues for us in this chapter. How Michael could know that the ransom drop is on Tuesday and is the ‘Ironman’ logo on the black hoodie something that Justin might see/have seen in one of his visions?
