Well, I managed to get caught up on the last three chapters, and I'm looking forward to the next one and the last one when you get it posted.
I debated about reading it... I've had six people pre-warn me, that you allowed Kari, who loves Mikey and is a Hal fan, decide to NOT let Michael be in on the kidnapping. I'm with them... I'm not sure how I feel about that. Mainly, because Justin brought up VERY valid points. Because even though Michael hates Justin with every fiber of his being, he does REALLY resent Brian. And he's got the most hateful attitude... if I can't have him, I'm going to do EVERYTHING in my power, so you don't either. That was time and again in canon.
But the story is awesome, and I can hardly wait to see how you wrap everything up. I'm almost thinking Momma Joanie has to be involved too. Some of the things that have been said throughout this story, are things that Joan, not Claire, would know and say.
I'm REALLY hoping Horvath comes on the phone... QUICKLY!!!

So you're saying I got you too? LOL! Personally, I'm not pro-Mikey or anti-Mikey. Mostly, I just like playing with his character because he's so easy to turn into a villain or use as a convincing red herring. 😉 I don't like to be predictable. I'm glad you like the story anyway. I was happy to see Brian honestly defend Michael... and to admit that some of Mikey's problem with jealousy was at least partly his fault with his subtle acknowledgement of Mikey's fantasies.

Yeah! I previously found the kitchen could have been Joan's. As for how they might have known Gus' existence, it could be Michael or Debbie with her big mouth.
As for Justin, this new cliffhanger might lead to a very bad situation; let's hope that Craig will show up or that Brian will "feel" the distress and arrive on his black horses.

Hmm, with Brian not believing it was Mikey, it could very well be. He could be working in concert with Claire. After all the kidnapper was diffenently male. But why are they using Joanie's kitchen?
