Assault and battery... Hobbs better be going to prison, and his cronies - right behind him... jail cells for all of them. Stupid Hobbs did it right in front of the police. "Don't drop the soap, Hobbs."
WHO WAS SHOT? If they were fighting for the gun, and it went off, I have to wonder if Joan was hit? And it would have been Chaire's finger, thereby her prints, around the trigger. And if Joanie is dead, Claire can't even use the excuse that she was following her mother's orders... Brian heard it all. God, I hope it's not one of her boys!
Just wait until Jennifer finds out the reason Justin was able to get beaten so severely was that Craig was not there to pick him up. Maybe Craig will turn up at the hospital smelling of cheap perfume and sex...
While reading this fast-paced chapter, I kept thinking, "I hope she's a fast typer." Because a slow typer could lose their flow. I am well versed on that, what with my accident only leaving me able to type one-handed.
I'm VERY anxious for the last chapter.

This was a very challenging chapter to write because I had to keep the two different story lines moving at the same time and weave in a third pov at the end. I'm very pleased with how it turned out though. Unfortunately, I'm having a very busy week and may not have time to finish up the final chapter (maybe 2 chapters at this point because I have a lot more loose ends than I expected) until the weekend. Hang on til then, please. TAG
