Yes, finally! Vicky is coming home, Brian is doing better. Things are finally looking up for the Kinney-Taylor family :)

I understand what you mean about Joan, though I have to admit that I don't really see her as the type of person that would change her mind on something as fundamental as her belief that gays are an abomination. I don't know, I just see her as this type of character that is so set in her ways and beliefs that she will never change.

Having said that, I also like some of the stories where she comes around, mostly just because it makes me happy for Brian. He has always wanted his mother's love and for him to finally get it, always made me happy.

To be absolutely honest, I have been toying around with ideas for a sequel and that sequel also involved ideas for Joan and some other grandparental units missing from this universe so far... But, it's still in the very early stages and nothing has been properly laid out yet when it comes to plot or storylines, so who knows if it will ever see the light of day ;)

I am well, thanks. I live in Ireland and we're under complete lockdown and have been for three weeks now. It has just been extended to May 5th, so we'll see. I miss my friends and family, but thankfully there's Skype and the likes. At least I am healthy, so that's worth a lot!
