Hi! Oh, what a beautiful last chapter! I'm really happy for them, they've gone through so much and I'm happy that now, they're at a good place! So thank you very much for another well written, amazing story! So, no wedding but an engagement. But, there is a clear hint, that there will be a sequel, isn't there? So, I'm looking forward to this and I'm curious what will happen beside the wedding... ;-)

Yeah, I've seen the reunion and it was totally amazing! They've done a great job, especially Scott Lowell. I was surprised, he's so totally cute and sympathetic. Just as Ted is like in your stories ;-)

And I have to say, even if I still don't like Michael... Hal Sparks was also great, how he chatted with the fans! Although I understand that if Randy would have tried to do something like that, the chat would have broken down :-)

Randy was another story... I don't know, he left me with such a sad impression afterwards. Maybe he was just not in a good mood, maybe because of the whole Corona situation. Who knows how he is doing in NY right now. Must be terrible for an actor at Broadway. But... I was sooo looking forward to see him and then unfortunately, at least in my opinion, he was asked the stupidest question ever.. The moment I heard the question I thought, no please no... I was never on a Con but watched a few on youtube and often, at least in the last years, whenever this question came up, they rolled their eyes or stopped the questioner and asked friendly not to ask this question again. And don't get me wrong, it wasn't the answer that made me sad. I mean, he can have that opinion about Brian and Justin, that was nothing new to me. I don't share it and it's simply an open end and not real life so whatever... But the way he answered I just felt like he said it because he was just so annoyed by the question. And later someone else actually asks him exactly the same question in other words... And when they were all together at the end, I just got the impression, he was no longer enjoying it, he seemed kinda lost. Well, maybe it was just my impression, it was quite late. And sadly Gale wasn't there, but the whole thing was great, amazing! So, warmest regards and stay safe!

Author's Response:

Awwww, thank you! I am glad that you liked the ending and this story in total. That means a lot to me :) And yes, you're right. There will be a sequel. I just can't seem to leave the Kinney-Taylors alone... By now they mean too much to me and I have so many more ideas for future storylines... but first and foremost: Yes, there will be a wedding in the next story!

As for the Youtube reunion, I really liked it as well and thought it was very well done. Scott has my eternal respect for doing such a great job for 4 1/2 hours. I tweeted him to thank him for all he had done to get this reunion going and for his great work hosting it and he and Peter Paige even liked my tweet - happy fangirl ;)

As for Hal Sparks, I am not a big fan (maybe because he played Michael, maybe there is something else, I can't really explain it), he just rubs me the wrong way sometimes, but yeah, he was really great during the reunion. Even I can acknowledge that and appreciate his efforts!

Randy... Yeah, some of the questions made me cringe as well. I felt bad for him being asked the same questions over and over and when the people went on asking the same questions we had been asked 5 minutes earlier, just in a slightly different way, I was asking myself: What is wrong with you? What do you want him to say that he didn't say five minutes ago? But I guess that's just people for you. I have been to many conventions, mostly in the Lord of the Rings fandom, but also in other fandoms and it's the same everywhere. You will always have people asking questions again and again that will make the whole audience cringe and boo because they know that the person up on stage has been asked this hundreds of times before and has answered it so many times (my favourite example is people asking Billy Boyd from Lord of the Rings to sing the song he sang in Return of the King. He sometimes does it, he sometimes declines politely, but there are soooooo many youtube videos of him singing it, it's just awkward to ask him to sing it again and again when you could ask really interesting questions).

And I agree, it's not even about Randy's answer. He is entitled to his opinion and once you leave behind a fan's romantic notions and think about them as real people and not TV characters, his opinion is probably a lot healthier for everyone involved than what we as fans come up with ;)

Maybe it was just me, but I also felt like there was some tension between him and Hal. When they talked about Hal being the one to swing the bat in those famous reshoots and him enjoying it just that bit too much and then in the end when they all came on together and he very particularly greeted him "Hey Hal"... It just sounded really tense. Maybe I am reading too much into it because there have always been rumours that they didn't get on well towards the end of the show, but I don't know, it just seemed weird. He seemed more at ease with Scott and Peter for example.

All in all, it just confirmed my belief that I will not attend the convention in London. First of all the prices are just crazy, but secondly, I don't think I would enjoy it because it doesn't seem like Randy and Gale are the type of people that are enjoying these interactions with fans.

Scott and Peter, absolutely. You can see how easy-going they are and how they enjoy interactions with fans and are good at it, both of them seemed to have a way easier time talking to the fans than Randy did, but Randy and Gale... don't seem like the type to have fun at an event like that and quite frankly, it's too much money to have them moping around for two days, you know?

I know it's egoistical, but if I go to a convention and pay a lot of money to see someone I really like, the least they can do is to make the effort and at least pretend to have a good time. Yes, I know, we all have bad days, we all are entitled to them, but I see a convention as a kind of job commitment they made and many people saved for months, maybe years and it's a dream come true for them and the least the actors at the convention can do is to at least pretend that they want to be there and have a good time, you know? ;)

I thought it was quite telling when Randy actually talked about how becoming famous and being in the spotlight was the one thing he didn't like about the QAF experience and that it caught him quite off-guard. And honestly, I guess it must be weird to know that most of the people paying to see you at these events are lusting over your naked body more than really caring about the stories that you tried to tell, you know? Can't even blame him there...Not that everyone is lusting over him, but I am sure there is not a small part of fans who cared more about the sex scenes than the storylines on the show...

Okay, I am stopping now, I am getting way too cynical here *lol* As said before, I thought the reunion was great, well-done and I am happy they got it organised and I loved watching them all together again. No matter what! :)

Thanks for your comment! Stay safe and hang in there!

Thank you for a wonderful ending to a wonderful story.  So I take it a new story involving a wedding may be coming one of these days.  That would be equally wonderful.  Your writing is amazing and even waiting week after week for updates, it kept my attention.  Hope all is well with you.  Stay safe.

Author's Response:

Awwwww, thank you for your nice comment and all the other comments before. I appreciated each and every one of them more than I can say :)

You are right, there will be a sequel. We will see the Kinney-Taylors again. I just love them too much to leave them alone ;)

Stay safe!

Great ending with the birthday party and the fact that Gus was OK for the adoption. Justin has always been there from day1.

I guess from the end notes that there will be another part. I hope so.

Author's Response:

Yes, Justin has always been a father to Gus and it's good that Gus knows it as well.

And you're right, there will be a sequel. We will see the Kinney-Taylors again :) I just can't leave this family behind me for some reason...

Thanks for all your comments. I really appreciate them!
