Loving the story so far. I think mel or lyndsey or maybe both die and gus stays with both of his dads and maybe possibly depending on how old gus is gus or nathan fall for each other?

Author's Response: All will be revealed in the next few chapters. Thanks for reading, glad you like the story.

Hi again! Finally! The much needed talk! And also the talk we readers needed to understand some things way better.

So, Brian: I‘m glad that he finally told Justin what disturbed him. As you wrote „What I say and how I feel are completely different...“ - That‘s not only not fair because how should Justin know, and it would have certainly over time negatively impacted on their relationship or even destroyed it. That was something I so disliked about the show – often they just didn‘t talk!

Justin: I've never seen Justin that way, that fame matters so much to him. I like this idea of him, being sure to be an artist, painting primarily for himself, who doesn't care so much about the opinion of others or fame, to whom other things are far more important than a career, as such to be with Brian or having a family with him. But I‘ve to admit, that was something I also didn‘t like in the show - it seems to be easy for him to leave everything behind and I never understood why he left everything else behind to go to New York just because of this one article. But there were many things I didn‘t like in the show, mainly in S5. So, I can accept and understand your version - it's one of many possibilities. So, another affair – just great :-( But hopefully he learned his lesson and grateful he didn‘t lose Brian because of this. One question, I‘m not sure if this is just a phrase or if you meant it that way… „getting your ass fucked raw“ - he didn‘t let this guy fucked him raw, did he? He wouldn‘t do something so stupid, dangerous and irresponsible, would he? In my opinion you‘ve done a great job in the way you let them talk. I imagine it to be difficult to put the most important things into a few sentences and I think you‘ve mentioned the most important things… They talked about Nathan, Justin's affair in NY, about the things that bother Brian, but also about their love for each other and how they can imagine a future together and about the things they have to change. I just still hope that this incident in Babylon won‘t throw them back…

So, the lodger will be Gus! But how terrible, there was an accident... Then you meant with the death Lindsay or Mel or even both ... I'm very curious. Again, you‘ve surprised me very much ... I really thought that death had something to do with Nathan and/or Brad…

Uff, another mini-chapter! :-) Until soon, warmest regards!

Author's Response: Hey, I 'm glad you liked the chapter. It was one of those chapters that I wrote, re-wrote and then just went with the flow! I'm glad it turned out okay. With some of your questions, the phrase that Brian uses "your ass fucked raw"; he was being flippant and it means his ass is sore from the fucking. In my mind the sex is always safe.I agree about S5 of the series. I think for me it ended on such a down note...all this build up and it came to nothing. People say that you have to assume they will stay together but I didn't get that, to me it was all so finally that they'll never see each-other again, as Brian stays where he is and Justin in NY with his all new adventures in life. Thank God for Fan Fiction! It's such a happy escapism, I also think it's easier to write for them several years down the line rather than the post S5 era. My personal favorite series is S2. I love all the post bashing stuff where Brian is coming to turns that he loves Justin even though he will never actually say it and anyway actions speak louder than words. They build ground rules to a relationship only for it to get messy in the end when Justin falls for Ethan. That cliff-hanger just shows how much Brian loves him, and knows that Justin will learn from his mistakes. Anyway, I have gone in a different direction! Back to my story, Gus is the lodger and things will be far from smooth when he moves in! More very soon, take care.
