Hi! When you wrote that Brian was going to make a heartbreaking decision, at first I thought it would be about Justin. But the two have just talked and everything seemed to be fine... My second thought then concerned Gus... My own son is 12 years old and I know very well what it's like or how hard it is to get him off the phone or the games console... :-) Unfortunately, that‘s part of today‘s life... And Gus is also currently struggling with a serious loss. he needs his dad (and maybe also some kind of therapy) and I hope Brian doesn‘t give up so fast... No matter what problems there have been, Gus has just lost his mothers! I just can‘t imagine, that Brian would be so impatient, emotionsless and incomprehensible to Gus. To consider to give Gus to Lindsay's parents... Hopefully, he‘ll change his mind. I really like Justin‘s idea of getting a new home for the three of them....
In one of your answers to my reviews you wrote about a marriage (hasn‘t happened yet), a death (Linds and Mel...?), a betrayal (Stu and Danny....?) and a possible life changing injury.... It's clear that Brad has manipulated the car in some way ... I just hope Brian won‘t get hurt badly ... but maybe, if there‘ll be an accident, it could finally bring out a reaction of Gus... Author's Response: Hey, Hope you are good, it is cold here in Newark down to 15F in the yard last night and there is the first snow later this week, boy Christmas is coming!. Brian feels he is not up to looking after Gus at moment. He was the father without all the daily responsibilities because he let all that to Lindsay. Not to mention he didn't visit him that often. I feel like Gus is unsure of him too, because he seldom sees his father. it will be up to Justin and Debbie to try and make him see sense, but it is an up hill struggle. The marriage is on it's way soon, yes the death was Mel's and with a twist, Lindsay's too...and yes the near life changing injury...that is to come too....Danny and Stu's story will finish in a few chapters time a plan spectacularly backfires on them. The next chapter (20) is now up. Have a great Weekend. More soon.

Great story so far. Don't like the brad character, nasty man and i have a feeling he's done something to the car, maybe to the brakes? Also im thinking nathan helps gus.
Id like gus and nathan to become friends and i think sending gus to Lindsey parents is a big mistake.
Author's Response: Brad is nasty...but all nasty people get what's coming. Nathan will play apart to appease Gus. Brian is adamant that he will not be responsible for Gus, put there will be a change of heart. thanks for your comments.
