Jeez! I really feel sorry for Nathan and his Father! First this absolutely impossible brother. I mean, if I imagine that my brother would try to sexually abuse my son ... And then this absolutely stupid bitch of a wife ... A divorce is never a nice thing, but Patrick can't stay with this woman. ..
Now a few words about the situation with Gus ... I really really can't imagine Brian ever behaving like that. Not after his childhood experiences, growing up in a family without love. And I always got the impression that he doesn't like Lindsay's parents much. And the way they are already behaving and treating Gus at this funeral...Terrible! No way! He would never leave Gus there. But okay. I had criticized you enough at the beginning and we've already clarified this "out of character-thing" and I understand that it must be like this for the course of your story and I can accept that. I just hope Brian comes to his senses before something bad happens to Gus! You already revealed that Brian'll change his mind... So, I'm curious... And I can't agree with Debbie here. Most of the time Justin stood up against Brian and never kept silent and he also shouldn't do it now! Looking forward to the weekend!
Author's Response: Hey, Brian will get a reality check soon, he just has to realize how much he loves his son who he has had not that much to do with since he went to Canada. A visiting father is different than one with responsibilities. He genuinely believes he is doing the right thing for Gus, even if he doesn't believe in what the Peterson's stand for, because he thinks Gus will make his own decisions in future like he has himself. Just a heads up on the next chapter...we've got to the life changing injury part of the story. I'm stuck in Texas hotel room for work with a laptop that is not working probably! I hope to get the next chapter out this week...here's hoping. Hope you've had a great weekend.

Just one question....why? Why would Brian leave Gus somewhere he doesn't want to be? Not to mention the cold callous statement about him being too selfish to have a kid living with him....I just can't with that because I don't see Brian ever acting that way toward Gus or considering his feelings. I'm really disappointed
