Gus is so excited to meet his future playmate. It will take some time for him to realize that Colin will not be playing for a while.

Lindsay is already instilling that Gus won't be Brian's priority; she really should be careful as Gus will hear and understand what she is doing.

LIndsay wants Gus to hear this information as she thinks that Gus will lose his favor with Brian and hence her golden ticket. She really doesn't care about Gus but more that he is her connection to Brian
