So sad to read the end of this amazing series -enjoyable though it was, as always. Has been a great journey and I loved each and every one of your introduced extended family and friends to Brian and Justin's  life together. This is an ending they thoroughly deserved after all these years, and love that you brought our QaF favs along for the ride. Looking forward to your next story and hoping there are many more to come xox

Author's Response:

I am thrilled to know that you enjoyed this series, Nickknack, especially the new characters I brought into Brian and Justin's world too.  I fell in love with my creations and will miss them as I move on to other stories.  I am hoping that you will join me soon, when I finally get back to my only other incompletd story, which I had started years ago, but had to pull at the same time I pulled this one.  Thank you so much for all your support of my work.  I am deeply grateful to you.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Thank you Grammy it was a great story with just the right amount of anxiety. The whole family is reunited and happy and even Bob and Mary are a part of it. Justin is 50 years old so Brian is 62 and they are still so hot! I liked that you made reference to their meeting and to that bottle of water poured on Brian which I think made me addicted to the show, it was as hot as it was then. It's sad to see the end of this story but I loved your serie. Bid hugs Grammy. Take care of you. Marie-France

Author's Response:

Thank you, Marie-France, for all your support of this story.  I wanted to end the entire series with a quick look-back at what brought our beloved boys to this very point in their lives.  I couldn't think of anything more iconic than that water bottle scene from the first night together.  I knew the show was going to be a hot one the moment I saw that scene, and boy was I right!  I really enjoyed recreating the scene for our boys to top off this story.

I am now hoping to finish the only other story that I left incomplete from years ago, before moving on to something new.  I hope you will join me then.  Please take care of yourself too.  Warm hugs, Grammy

Full circle.  Great ending to a very long saga.  A love that will never cease.  Enjoyed the whole trilogy.

Author's Response:

What wonderful comments, Sfscarlet.  A dozen years ago, I never thought that this story would grow as it did, but I enjoyed writing about Brian and Justin being Gus and JR's parents so much that I had to let it continue.  I can't thank you enough for sticking with this series, despite the length of time it took me to complete it.  I am very grateful for your support.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Fantastic ending.  Is there a story about how Brian and Justin ended up with Gus and JR. ?  I can't see Mikey letting Justin raise his little dumpling.

Author's Response:

I'm so glad you enjoyed the ending of this story, YumYum.  This particular story is only the third and final one of the Double Trouble trilogy.  The first story, titled Double Trouble' is the one which you must read in order to undetrstand how it all began, including how and when Brian and Justin became the parents of Gus and JR.  It also explains why Michael didn't step in to take over the raising of JR, who was about 13 years old to Gus's 17 years old at the time.  The second story in the series is titled, 'Double Trouble: Graduation', which picks up where the first story ended, when Gus is about to graduate from college and JR about to graduate from high school.  This final story, which you have read here, then picks up a few years later, after both Gus and JR have gotten married and are now wanting children of their own, making Brian and Justin grandparents.  I do hope you will check out the other two stories that came first and will enjoy them too.  Thank you so much for your support of my story.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Absolutely wonderful ending to a wonderful story.  As always, I am happy for a happy ending, but so sad to see the end of their journey. I will miss them. I did need the tissue box for this.  Fantastic writing.  Hopefully you are thinking of something new for us.  Wishing you well during these trying times.  All is well with me.  Take care and stay safe.   10+

Author's Response:

I am so glad to know that you are doing well, Mamab.  Health wise, my granddaughter and I are just fine, despite her having to go out in public to work almost every day.  She stays safe when doing so in order to keep me safe too.

I sometimes doubted that I'd ever finish this series, but was so happy to be able to finally complete it.  I will miss this family too.  I fell in love with many of the characters which I brought into the lives of Gus and JR and our beloved Brian and Justin.  I now have only one old story that I began long ago which isn't completed.  I'm planning on getting back to it now, so that I can honestly say I have never left a stoty incomplete.  Once that is done, I have a number of other stories brewing inside my head.  I will never be able to let QAF go entirely.  I fell in love with the QAF family 20 years ago and feel exactly the same today.

Thank you so much for all your support of my stories.  I truly appreciate it.  Huge hugs, Grammy
