I really need to go to bed, but this was fucking beautiful. I am so happy Brian let Justin carry him to the cove. I know how hard that must have been for him, but he did it. He trusted Justin enough to do it. And the idea of him working less makes me so happy, it's what they both need. As Justin said, he's paid his dues, he should be able to enjoy his money with the man he loves.

As usual, his story was amazing from start to finish. I am so happy I found your writing.

Wonderful and positive story: Brian's "non romantic" mantra is long gone and it's the best remedy to Justin's state of mind (ours as well!). Brian went over the top with this so much needed escape. The plane, the house, the beach, the location, ...

There are too many great things that I won't be able to list them all.

The part where he was suffering almost "killed" the mood, but Justin found a way to be there and not too close.

The end is beautiful: I can see Justin struggling and then, jumping and taking a leap of faith. They are so tuned with each other, it's amazing.

What is also amazing is the fact that Brian is seriously considering doing less for Kinnetik and this is as unexpected and needed.

Great job!!!

Thank you so much! <3 I love to imagine Brian and Justin all "grown up," at this point in their lives, where they've learned their lessons (many the hard way) and have grown and changed into the people they were always meant to be, that they weren't quite sure they could be. This is a bit of "mood" story, in that I sat down and wrote whatever I felt like writing at the time... be that romance, or hurt/comfort. I also loved writing them taking that leap of faith together...just like they have more than once in life, and will continue to do. As for slowing down, the events of "Not Like You" were a bit of a wake-up call for Brian, and he's found himself now wanting to soak in every single moment. :)

Fantastic chapter.  Love how they managed to get away to a place that was wheelchair friendly.  They both needed a break from the mundane.

Thank you! Accessibility can be a challenge on vacation, as was mentioned in the story, but there are ways to make it work!
