I am really enjoying this story.
Just a quick point, not a criticism, in the series, they were supposed to retire to Palm Springs, California, not Palm Beach, Florida. Maybe more gay friendly?

Oh my could Ben be any more delusional? He hs been around the Novotnys too long blaming Brian for everything where Michael is concerned. Maybe he will listen to Ted and Emmet and get his head out of the sand and move on.

Alright now! Thank you, Emmett, for telling Ben the unvarnished TRUTH about Michael. I can't believe that he still wants to think the best of Michael when he's obviously being shown the worse. Em and Ted are right; Ben deserves everything he's gotten since he wanted to employ some willful blindness of his own.
BTW... I actually laughed loud and long at the 'Stewart' reference. I don't know anyone who ever watched AMC that wouldn't have picked up on it. Yet, even in all of that, Stewart would have known eventually that Michael was a grade-A asshole and kicked him to the curb without blaming the victim of Michael's obsessions. Ben needs to go sit in a corner until he can make better decisions!
Really enjoyed this and looking forward to MORE!

Ben is an idiot who let his ex cheating lead him to.think someone as obsessed as Michael could ever truly love him back, he saw with his own eyes how Brian treats Michael compared to how he is with Justin and still be frank the Kool-Aid of Delusion to justify why he stayed with such a worthless idiot.
Emmett and Ted see the truth which is not the BS Michael is sprouting to justify his dreams that will never happen, they are even willing to walk away from Deb to protect their sanity and to not catch a murder rap.
Ben needs a kick in the Ass to jumpstart start his brain because that was a stupid thing to say and believe about Brian.
This is going to be quite an interesting week for everyone only not the way they all think it want.
