Hi again! Great chapter! Especially because it got both, the painful and the joyful moments... First it broke my heart, reading that Justin had to hustle to be with Denny and to getting drugs... The "That it was part of the deal of being his boyfriend" was painful and made me so sad... I'm glad that it seems as if the worst is really over and thanks for this wonderful "popcorn-moment" - it was good to see them laughing together for the first time, having a real positive moment!

I actually had to think of you when I posted this chapter as I remembered one of your former comments where you mentioned that you had a feeling that Danny had been looking out for Justin in his own way and all I could think back then was: If only she knew... Now the truth is out! Danny was an asshole through and through and it's sad that Justin felt he had to do what Danny wanted to keep him in his life, that he felt worth so little that he would hustle to keep Danny in his life :( It really goes to show that Justin was in a bad place for a long time.
Hopefully, things will change for him now. He deserves some happiness after all he's been through and I really enjoyed that popcorn moment between them as well. Just some lighthearted fun, forgetting about all the heavy stuff if only for a few minutes.

Hi again! What a awesome chapter! That was moving and very emotional. Very well written, one can feel Justin's pain and dispair and it broke my heart imagining Justin when he told how he felt when Brian left for NY. And it's a start, that they beginn to talk about what happened and yeah, it's a good talk, but everytime Brian is saying something like "we were friends", I want to shake him... It's also a start that Brian confess to Justin that he was an important person back then, but if I were Justin I would have asked why he broke off all contact then... But okay, I'm sure you'll deal with this issue later... ;-)
When I imagined Justin sitting in this armchair I got the idea that Brian should get Justin some sketchpad and pencils... Maybe it would help Justin to get back some spirit! Great chapter! Can't wait! Warmest regards and stay heatlhy!

Hopefully Brian will realise that they're so much more than friends, then again, the Brian that left for New York was season 1, pre-Prom Brian, so... we'll see...
I think Justin knows why Brian broke off all contact and never contacted him again after he left for New York: Brian told him that he had only been a fuck and they have been nothing more than people that fucked. No partners, no boyfriends, nothing... I don't think that Justin expected anything else once he accepted that that was all they were to Brian: people that fucked occasionally.
This definitely won't be the last conversation between them though, that's for sure! And it's only the beginning of Justin's recovery, so...

What ever happened to Daphne? I'd still like to know what happened with Mikey. It's good that Brian and Justin are talking, I just hope that Brian doesn't back away thinking that Justin is cured.

As Justin mentioned, he lost all his friends when he descended into his addiction, including Daphne. We should not forget that at the time Daphne was only 17, 18 years old, so the things she could have done to help Justin would have been limited :(
As for Michael, that will be revealed later on in the story. When it's time ;)

Hi! Great chapter again, intense! I just hope, Brian is right, and they really got over the worst! I really suffered with them and I'm curious about future conversations because I think there is a lot to talk about regarding Justin's past and why things happened the way they were...
Michael: As you know, I don't like him, but I also like to read stories in which he's a real good friend. I just thought, if he stopped trying to help Justin, then it must've been something big. But no, I won't be dissapointed if it isn't a big thing.

Friends – In my opinion, there was already some kind of friendship in S1 – they’ve done already so many things for each other (for example, when Brian took Justin home with him after the horrible scene with Craig at Justin’s home or when Justin helped Brian in terms of Kip), but in your story Brian treated Justin terrible after he left… that’s not how one should treat a friend, but I think that would be exactly what Brian would have done and not because Justin wasn’t a friend but because he was already so much more and Brian couldn’t handle this… Hm, does this makes any sense?
I really love this chapter and the way you let Brian speak to Justin. He gives him hope and tries to be there for him and we know, if Brian promises something, then it really means something. And again, as so often before, very well written… one can feel Justin’s pain and suffers with him! Looking forward to Sunday!

You might be surprised once the truth about their relationship comes out ;) Though some things have already been hinted at between the lines... I promise all will be revealed! :)

It makes perfect sense! And it would be so like Brian. Instead of admitting his real feelings for Justin, he would just shut down and pretend that Justin was just another trick, just another fuck and no different to anyone else no matter the cost to himself or Justin. The walls would be up and in place!
I love writing conversations between Brian and Justin. I know I mentioned it before, but sometimes there seemed to be a real lack of conversations and communication between them on the show, so I love to give them the opportunity in my stories. Writing long conversations between them is my favourite part of writing these stories :)
Now we only have to see how Justin will react to Brian's plan...
