IF... after pouring his heart out to Brian and fessing everything up, he worked with Brian to take down Stockwell, and not go along with him, then yes... but as soon as he thought he had the upper hand, he went back to the plan of taking Gus. He should have gotten SOMETHING!
Lastly... it's a good thing Justin had a nudge from Daphne and Melanie, and went out to 'get his man'. He just had to let Brian see him once again to ignite the fire.
Good ending... and no more secret service.

Another blonde, stupid move. You don't try and call your accomplice in a house where other people are roaming about freely.
Well, now she can have the same new home as daddy dearest, and now she will NEVER get custody of Gus.
Unless I missed it, I was wondering just WHY Lindsay wanted custody of Gus. Financial gain? A life with Melanie, outside of Justin's house and laws, and lots of child support, is all I can see. I never saw her as a loving mother or person in this story. And thankfully, Melanie was the one who came along, and saw and heard her for what she really was.

I'm glad you liked the ending. It was certainly a chaotic journey. This is one of the few stories I have written that I didn't place Michael in an 'anti' role, but he wasn't a big part of this story, so maybe that helped. Gus is definitely the big winner here. I think he will have two doting fathers for the rest of their lives. :)

I'm wondering if Franck isn't the missing link between Ethan and Justin. I know it's a little weird, but why not? He would have Justin, Brian and Gus on a foreign territory and Ethan arriving to deal with them: very easy to let Ethan take action and kill Ethan during all the mess.

That's a really good guess, but since Frank was the hero in the movie this story was based on, I probably wouldn't do that to him, especially since I do like him. A very interesting idea, though. They would be extremely vulnerable for sure.

Yeah, Lindsey can be perceived as super baddie in this story. I'm afraid Gus probably won't have any part in the rescue. He will be safe and well protected inside with Deb. I can't see Brian or Justin having it any other way. And for sure, he is a very smart kid, no matter his age. Ethan's disquise isn't overly elaborate, just enough to blend in, wig, moustache, sunglasses and a cap. Something that could have been caught, but blending in with all of the tourists not standing out.

I think it's worth considering that Ethan might not be in this alone, and that someone was tipped maybe when Justin was at the airport departing for Tahiti. So many possibilities with his celebrity status. The end is in sight now, so hopefully, everyone will be safe soon. :)

Daphne was taken before the agents actually arrived, and when you think about who is there at the house now, I think it's easy to imagine it not being caught. Most of them are all wrapped up in their own personal drama. Ethan typically isn't very smart; but, he has an obsession, and that can be inspiring to the demented. Not much longer until the resolution.
