Good Morning, and Happy Holidays!
I'm sorry I'm so far behind on this story. I've been working on a massive project, and have had so very little time to read, which has left me with quite a few WIPs to catch up on.
I enjoyed this chapter. It moved Brian and Justin's anticipated relationship, toward a possible true friendship. And I always enjoy Brian in protective mode.
And hopefully, Justin will open up and be forthcoming during their lunch date.

No need to apologize. I certainly understand being behind. Between work and the holidays I have had very little time for my own writing, which I miss so much. Hopefully, that crazy cycle breaks soon...
Brian is in protective mode, and not typical since it's even before they've had sex. But, we know that's probably just around the corner. LOL.

I love so much that Brian wants to be his friend, that he sees Justin needs someone, and not just a good fuck.

Brian is certainly more compassionate in this story than we typically see him, but I think Justin is already worming his way into his heart. :)
