Hi! Another two and a half weeks and then I have 2.5 weeks off! But, I will probably spend my free time in Berlin. As I said, I don't need a long trip far away at the moment. Maybe a few days off, but in the current situation I don't really understand how some people have to go on a long vacation trip. Yes, the delta variant. Let's see what's in store for us. I watch the EM soccer games every now and then and I just don't understand how it can be that the stadiums are so full and one has the impression that Corona doesn't exist in the soccer world. But the artist industry is down and concerts are not allowed ... :-(
So, this chapter ... beautiful! I'm so happy for both of them ... Two things ... First, I'm really alos very happy for Gus too. He will be so happy that his two dads are finally reunited!
The second thing that crossed my mind while reading this chapter is that I am so glad that Brian is mentally and physically able to bottom. We still don't know what happened to him in Gilead and I feared some things which luckily didn't seem to have happened. As far as one can tell, I think gay men didn't survive Gilead in the Series. So many times we could see these scenes with hanged men. I was very concerned about what was being done to Brian, but it is really a relief to see that he has no problems having sex, neither to top nor to bottom. Makes me happy!

Ah, that sounds great! I am sure you'll enjoy having some time off!
I agree - I don't get how a summer vacation can be so much more important than the ongoing pandemic. But as long as we can fly to Mallorca or Greece, we can tell ourselves that everything is fine...
And don't even get me started on the Euro: That England-Germany game nearly gave me nightmares. Seeing that many people, so close together and not a single mask in sight, while the country is already suffering from exploding case numbers due to the Delta variant. I have no words for that :/
And travelling all over Europe during a pandemic just to watch a football game sounds like a really, really stupid reason to catch Covid and bring it back home to your loved ones.

I am happy for Gus as well - he has had a hard time and hopefully, he can now start moving on as well with both Brian and Justin raising him!
I know what you mean about Gilead and you're right, a lot worse has happened to homosexuals there (assuming that we are right and certain things didn't happen to Brian).
We'll find out what happened to Brian really soon and we'll also find out why some other things we might have imagined didn't happen...
Brian and Justin are on the right track - finally- and will hopefully stay happy for some time to come :)
