If Emmett had the protection spell on Justin, does that mean NOBODY could have hurt him? It sounded like he was protecting Michael too.

Yet, Michael brought a tire iron to Emmett and Justin's home. So what could be have accomplished?

So it's a good thing Emmett's eyes are now wide open as to how deranged Michael is. And Brian NEVER belonged to Michael - See? Super delusional!

Pretty good trick though - you can strangle someone and not have fingerprints on their neck.

"So many difficult decisions... how will I decide?" Mwahahahaha!

The protection spell had dual purposes. It was supposed to protect Justin, and maybe it would have, but also to keep Brian from getting into Justin's head magically. Emmett knew his half-brother well enough to know what would happen once Brian met Justin. And, he wasn't wrong. LOL. 

Brian definitely has some tricks that could be very useful. It certainly was with the conniving and unhinged Michael.
