So in the world Brian and Justin live in, vampires were a real thing. Even though Justin had some nervousness, he never questioned - VAMPIRE???

Nope. Vampires are a common occurrence in this world. I don't know if you have ever watched True Blood or not, but the humans are very familiar with vampires. Some scared by them, and others wanting to get up and personal with them as much as they can. Haha.
