I can understand both children’s attitudes. As Gus said - She has never treated me with kindness or respect, nor have I ever felt any love from her.

And Jasmine, defiant like her father - demands to know why. And if Lindsay tries to pull any of that sweet Mother Earth tone on her - I can almost hear Jasmine spat: LIAR!
