Should I feel sorry for Lindsay after everything Michael revealed? Nah…

But I guess I don’t see Justin as one of Brian ‘common sex slaves’. So he was given to the king. He still has a royal bloodline. I would think the tower (unlocked) would be a place that should not hurt for Justin to reside in. Putting him with the common slaves, well, feisty Justin is going to show his roar!

HUGS,

Cathy

Author's Response:

I don't think there's any reason to feel sorry for Lindsay no matter what her fate. Horrible mother, evil woman, all out spiteful in general!

I doubt that Brian finds Justin as common either. I don't think he's ever been drawn to anyone like Justin before. I agree about the tower. If it was unlocked it would be the perfect little hideaway and living quarters. :)

Sizzling hot chapter. But Justin better not test Brian’s jealousy. The poor king has more than enough to deal with - the wretched ex-wife for one.

HUGS,

Cathy

Author's Response:

Hopefully Justin doesn't actively try to incite the king's jealousy. That is the last thing Brian needs with everything else he has going on...especially with Lindsay!

Thanks for the comment, Cathy.

My, my… Justin is going so willingly. He must have rather enjoyed his time earlier. And I really hope Brian gets everybody’s take on what went on in the room after Ben left. He needs to be informed of her cutting remarks. And the fact she keeps saying, ‘I’m your queen’ - is such a false statement, I wonder if anything can be done about that?

Michael will surely get some chuckles out of that.

HUGS,

Cathy

Author's Response:

I think Justin is already developing feelings for Brian. Getting to know Gus probably doesn't hurt with that either. I have the feeling that Brian will be demanding to know everything that went on in the secret room. All Lindsay did during that time was make a total fool of herself, and perhaps damned herself in the eyes of the king beyond repair.

Thanks for commenting, Cathy.

Lots going on here. I don’t think King Brian is going to like it that Gus had to reprimand Lindsay. Lindsay better be saying her prayers.

Also, it would have been fun to see Sapperstein stabbed and just left to bleed out in the chair he was tied into. A slow death. Give him lots of thinking time. Of course, his mouth would have needed to be covered to save all their ears.

It will be interesting to see if Brian continues to keep Justin in his room, or in the tower.

HUGS,

Cathy

How did Ben know? Did the guards come to him when Sapperstein was captured, or was it something Brian said through his mouthpiece? Or the way he may have said something.

Well, I really hope that's the extent of the evil, betraying guards. Unless Lindsay has some on her side.

HUGS,

Cathy

Author's Response:

I think Ben's arrival was a clear case of disobedience, and him not feeling comfortable inside that room with Lindsay's unending tirade. He feared for his king's safety all along, and couldn't stand not being by his side. I think Brian was actually relieved to see him.

Yes, hopefully that is the end of the disloyal guardsmen. I guess we'll see.

Lindsay’s wrath just keeps growing. I can’t wait until she blows up at Brian and accuses Ben of high treason! That should be enough to get her exiled!

And wait until Michael realizes that all this time Lindsay wasn’t really the queen… I can see the gloating now!

How cute for Gus to formally introduce himself. I bet Lindsay wanted to yank his hand away!

And we still don’t know what’s going on!

HUGS,

Cathy

Author's Response:

Gus is extremely mature for his age. Perhaps too much so...but that's another story. Things should start moving along very quickly now. Even when the danger is sorted out, there is so much of this story still left.

So Ben was a ploy - oh poor Lindsay really thought she had one up on Michael and the king! But Tucker (also a personal favorite of the king) was the one always guarding Jennifer. Is it because of him they got to Jennifer so easily? Even Tucker must know that the king would never trade Justin for Jennifer. Or did they think Justin was with her?

If anything does happen to Jennifer, Brian is going to blame himself.

HUGS,

Cathy

Author's Response:

I need to actually write Ben as a true bad guy so it will be halfway believed when I bring in a swerve like this...but I probably won't. I like him too much as being loyal to Brian, especially when Brian is in a big position of power. They just compliment each other in that capacity.

Gary is stupid enough to think that he can get to Justin through Jennifer. As if the king would EVEr allow Justin to get caught in the crossfire! Of course, the Sap wouldn't understand how deep Brian's regard for Justin truly is.

If it is Jennifer, it’s like I thought earlier… she should have been locked in the tower or at least someplace within the palace. Sapperstein had to have access to get inside the palace gates, and that’s where her cottage was.

At least Justin and Gus will be untouchable.

And Justin found this horrid act wasn’t so bad and wondered why he waited so long… LOL...

I can certainly see the reasoning of Brian not wanting Justin to see him as a king as they go to bed. As a king, this would be a forced union. If he looked at him as a man, a man who desired him, I think Justin would get more out of it.

Lindsay better watch herself. She has nothing over Michael, so her threats to treat him as her queen could once again get her in trouble.

HUGS,

Cathy

Author's Response:

I think part of Brian wants his behind closed doors time with Justin to be about the two of them without everything else getting in the way. Whether that can be managed remains to be seen.

Lindsay is about the biggest viper I have ever seen, and probably the worst version of her I have ever written, but it's fun, and it's way strange to actually like Michael in a story. But, that's how he is written here. :)

BEN? I don’t want to believe that. Could he have known Lindsay was listening, and so he and Brian cooked it up?

I hope a very public banishment is in store for Lindsay. Let the townspeople know what a worthless Bitch she is. (I’d like to use the ‘c’ word) but bitch is good too.

And what does it matter that she just arrived and Brian beds a slave? I hardly doubt she’d make it to his bed anyway. Drugged with Ecstasy and Viagra, he STILL wouldn’t touch her!

See? Someone is helping him. I don't like how Lindsay just arrived, and was seen ‘playing with her phone.’ And again, the tower room was explained as ‘inaccessible’.

Or was that message sent to Lindsay from someone in the palace serving her?

I loved that Justin caved under the kiss. And Justin is at an age that should have him clamoring for sex. I’m not sure how he is staying strong and rebuffing Brian’s attentions. I just can’t imagine anyone rebuffing for very long!

Although at dinner, I can almost see the little imp making a play for Brian just to goad Lindsay.

That was a full chapter. How Brian can deal with one after another - would make me crazy. Especially the skanky, viper of his wife, then the stubborn whirlwind of Justin. Then have Sapperstein invade his thoughts.

I really hope Lindsay’s arrival has nothing to do with Sapperstein’s escape.

HUGS,

Cathy

Author's Response:

Brian certainly has a full agenda. LOL. It's amazing he could ever find any R&R time. LOL. Of course, he hasn't had much of that so far, but he is trying. Haha.

Lindsay is certainly the wife from hell. Thankfully, she's not really his wife!

There still has to be some unknown helping Sapperstein. I dounbt all the bad guards have been caught. He couldn' just be wandering around there undetected.

For the time being, I'm glad Justin is able to sleep. Everything he's been through has got to be daunting.

It's like Jennifer's mother instinct is on high alert.

Maybe when the king reviews the tapes again, he will pick up on something.

Would it have been safer for Jennifer and Justin to be put in the tower? Nothing could have gotten to them then. I can’t see Sapperstein getting inside the palace. On the grounds, he could move about undetected. So something doesn’t feel right to me.

Out of the three, Sapperstein SHOULD have been the first to die… he was the evilest of the bunch!

But a small progress… Justin willingly gave him a kiss.

HUGS,

Cathy

Author's Response:

Brian thought that since Justin was going to Jennifer to tell her about Craig, he wouldn't uproot them after that. I suppose they have a wider perimeter they can see far into the distance. Since the Sap just escaped, I don't think he will strike immediately...but who's to say with that cretin. And yes, Sapperstein did deserve his death sentence. I couldn't eliminate such a major villain this early in the story. A story that is my longest story...so we have a bit of adventure to go yet. LOL.

A kiss freely given is BIG progress.

They didn’t even have Taylor yet… was he trying to break out Sapperstein, and got caught in the cross-fire? But Craig couldn’t have gotten on the palace grounds without a guard or two letting him. So all is not as serene at the palace as one might have been led to believe!

HUGS,

Cathy

Author's Response:

Yes, Craig was at the prison for nefarious purposes - namely, break out the Sap. Just what everyone needs! Craig's fate will be revealed very soon. It appears Gary will survive for now. The prison isn't right on the palace grounds, but very nearby. I guess we will see if there are any traitors inside the sacred walls as well. :)

That imbecilic Craig. I was afraid he’d flee. There should have been a couple of guards left behind.  But how trained is Craig in combat and sword fighting?

But this also seems like a chance for the two men to become closer. Comrades toward the same end. Because neither Justin or Jennifer have ever had anyone to protect them from Craig.

What a little brat. The first and best blow-job he had, and he tells the experienced king he could find better.

Something needs to happen soon. I don’t think these volatile men can continue like this. Justin is obstinate and rebellious, and the poor king just can’t deal with being treated that way with finally losing all willpower.

Maybe Justin does need his britches pulled down and a few swats administered!

HUGS,

Cathy

Author's Response:

Perhaps Justin likes to make Brian jealous, or see if he can. Obviously, he can do that very easily. LOL. Something will probably give between them soon, and I would think it would need to be on Justin's side. It's hard to imagine Brian giving in on anything; at least, at this point.

Sapperstein should have been struck down when his last request was to bed Justin. The king was extending a courtesy, and Sap spit all over it. Made a mockery of it. Although being beheaded for the town to see, holds some poetic justice.

Hopefully, Tomas has better sense.

If the little prince is safe outside, I’d certainly think Justin would be, Apparently they aren’t worried about Craig getting to him.

HUGS,

Cathy

Author's Response:

The king does seem to feel his home is safe. Only time will tell if it is or not.

No matter how angry Brian got at the Sap's disgusting request, it's a miracle that Brian didn't break his neck on the spot. He could barely rein himself in, but it was smart to hold back and not appear like a total savage. Tomas seems like more of a tool than anything else. I don't think he will say anything like that to the king.

I don’t think that the thought of bedding the king is so abhorrent, it’s the thought of being one of those mindless puppets that jumped through hoops for the opportunity to please him. LOL… And his choice has been taken away.

Maybe he’ll like him a little better when he gets some room darkening curtains in place so he can sleep all hours.

And Emmett was supposed to get him things to keep him entertained. Where’s some sketch pad and charcoals or something????

HUGS,

Cathy

Author's Response:

Undoubtedly, Justin finds the king attractive. But yes, our Justin here isn't of a submissive nature. I really don't think the Brian in this world would want that either. No matter how maddening Justin's sass can be at times, I think Brian enjoys it too. To him, it's all a part of the taming process.

Hopefully, Emmett gets busy and finds what Justin needs to keep himself occupied. A bored Justin probably isn't in anyone's best interest. LOL.

Those two should call a truce and stop with the bickering, Like I said, both strong headed mules. I find it hard Jennifer doesn’t realize what the king wants Jusin for, it is the 21st century, unless she’s led such a sheltered life. So maybe Justin will inform her, and she will be outraged too.

HUGS,

Cathy

Author's Response:

I think Jennifer does realize, but she also sees the king's kindness to her as well. He could have possibly saved her life too with his actions. I don't think she's blind to that, and she is very old-fashioned and was raised with a certain outlook. She sees the positive and not so much the negative, excluding Craig of course. We'll see how her attitude is as this progresses.

How come I think Justin would prefer to bathe himself as to having women wash him???

And he’s in a tower. Is Brian afraid he’ll tie sheets together and escape? Because we know his hair won’t grow that fast.

And oh god, Lindsay’s returning. I do hope she pulls something so Brian can put that clause to use. I guess I’m curious if Lindsay is aware of it. But I don't see her taking kindly to strangers (who she perceives Justin as a slave) eating at their table with her. So, I can almost see her clashing with Justin and Jennifer.

HUGS,

Cathy

Author's Response:

Yes, it's easy to imagine that Justin wouldn't enjoy female bathers. LOL.

I think the tower is a lot about protection, and he could be very intuitive in that. He knows he has enemies, and perhaps even more than he realizes. Although, I'm sure Brian will enjoy knowing that Justin is where he wants him, whenever he wants him. :) Of course, we'll see how that view works out for him.

Lindsay probably isn't the most social person here, and I can guarantee that you won't like her. But, do we ever? Haha. I am sure you are right. I doubt she will like either Justin or Jennifer, and especially Jennifer with how she has such a royal vibe about her. But, we'll see how that goes. :)

I’m kind of surprised they left Jennifer’s servant lady back at the house with Craig. No telling what he might do to her, unless there was a guard left too. Although I would think the king would dispatch men immediately to bring him Craig. Craig might run though if he hears of the slaughter of Sap’s men.

So, will Justin decide to be more cordial in the king's presence with his mother there?

I laughed when Justin told the king: He touched me. Through my clothes. Took opportunities to grope me. LOL… I could literally see smoke coming out of my computer! (kidding!)

HUGS,

Cathy

Author's Response:

Brian is probably assuming that Craig is so self-absorbed that he would be more interested in having all of the servants pandering to his every mood and whim. That may or may not be true, but I'm sure the king has men ready to swoop down at any given moment.

Yeah, I think in this 'verse in particular, it's easy to see Brian fuming regarding the Sap's inappropriate touching!

So, how do they test if a man is ‘pure’?

And that was the king’s doctor? Classic! It would have been better if the king came in there with the Sap undoing his pants! INSTANT DEATH!

But there was still the rebellion and snideness in Justin. Poor King Bruhier. He really has his hands full.

HUGS,

Cathy

Author's Response:

A simple test such as a female would have. A professional, or someone who really knew what they were doing could tell if there had been any penetration. I'm sure it would be more difficult if Justin had been playing with dildos - LOL. In this world, I'd assume he probably hasn't, especially since his first kiss with a boy was such a taboo moment.

The king does have his hands full, and I don't see his plate empyting out anytime soon.
