Woh!!! That was brutal. Even though Brian was angry, it was pretty much all directed at Sap and the other guys, and I'm thinking based on the postscript, that Brian definitely had something to do with the revenge!! He would not let what happened to Justin go without getting some payback!!

Author's Response: I tried to make Brian's reaction change during the playing of the tape...from total disinterest...to a realization that this was about Justin... to realizing how Justin was set-up for what evolves...and finally to the domination, degradation, and danger which Justin experienced. I enjoyed creating the postscript...giving Sap his punishment... my sadistic side. I hope you will continue to read my works...and responding to them.

Hi! Oh, that was hard to read and painful, but on the other hand very well written, very realistic. I'm a strong believer that in the series Justin was lucky and got away and learned his lesson nevertheless, but you're totally right, those things happen. If this would happen in reality and these men had really wanted it, he would not have gotten away in his condition. But I think if it had gone further in the series without us seeing it, the authors would have made it a topic too later (although also other topis were left open). So, as you said, it's a warning and a lesson to learn. And as it happens to Ted later, it shows that it can really happen to everyone. What also affected me a lot is that they didn't use condoms (or at least Sap) and there is a possibility of HIV infection. But that too is probably a realistic and sad reality.

On your other side you wrote something that this is not for people who think Justin can't do wrong. I just wanted to tell you, I love Justin and I love Brian and I love them both together. They are both amazing, but they both also do things wrong, they both learn, each for themself and with each other. That's what fascinates me about both of them. One can think and philosophize for hours about those two characters and also about the nature of their relationship and their development.

And finally, I love how you picture Brian and let him totally stay in character. First he looks at the whole thing without reacting too much, but then he shows Justin in his very own way how much it affected him, how much he cares. And later he also takes revenge in his own unique way. Reminded me a lot of the judge thing. Great! And a small positive detail at the end - Thanks for that!

Author's Response: I'm much more of a Brian-person,...although I like Justin. Brian is very complicated...the character some folks love to hate. "Cold Hearted, Selfish Bastard." Understanding him is like peeling an onion. There are layers and layers of emotion, experience, attitude, secrets, etc. to peel back. He's one of the most complicated fictional characters I've ever encountered. I'm not like him...but some of my life experiences could have made me like him...so I write in a very personal style. "Only the names have been changed to protect the innocent." A lot of my writing is autobiographical...sort of... Thanks for responding to my story...and I hope you'll keep reading my work. There's lots more to come.

I think “rough stuff” is more common than most people think. Thanks for the review! This author thrives on criticism, positive and negative. Without reviews, it’s like taking your printed text, throwing it out the window, and watching it blow away.
