That was hot, hot and hot :-) And I already said that before - I love how you let them talk, let them stay so in charakter. And I hopefully will never get tired of saying this ... They are so good together, they complement each other, are stronger together. I love it so much when one just gives the other a little hint and this then triggers a big wave. Would Brian have started turning against Stockwell without Justin? "Some asshole told me that if you believe in something strongly enough you have to be willing to sacrifice anything" - one of my favorite scenes of S3. The last sentence was beautiful, but also a little bit sad.

Author's Response:

You seem to like hot, hot, hot.  And you always find a touch of sadness.  It's like I wrote these stories just for you.  I'm a hot-and-cold, happy-and-sad, love- and-hate kind of writer... so, keep reading.

I think it was during this arc, that Brian and Justin were the closest they've ever been. They were both on the same side, fighting the same fight. Jim may have perceived himself as "everybody's" mayor, but he sure played favorites, and both Brian and Justin helped everyone realize the kind of guy he really was.

Author's Response:

I like the way you think about this.  Definitely along the same lines of my story.  Thanks for your review.
