Brian Fucking Kinney. The face of God. Yep, that's him. He was bound to bollix it up at some point. He's still adjusting to how he feels about Justin and the changes he wants to make in his life.

Brian really must have felt like shit when Justin saw him. And, my heart is breaking for Justin. :(

I really enjoyed the shopping scene and the rapport between Melanie and Brian. Those two are so very alike.

On to Justin's reaction...

I get the warm fuzzies all over again at how their Pittsburgh meeting plays out. Fantastic but believable series of circumstances that kept them from learning they're both from Pittsburgh and how they're now both part of the same extended family.

As always, when allowed to make his own choice (and not pushed into a different choice), Justin chooses Brian.

Those two are so very conncted to one another, both now finding out that it was Justin to whom Brian sent the computer following the bashing.

It makes me smile that Lindsay, too, recommends Justin for a job at Plexus, and that Ted and Mel provide good advice about preexisting relationships.

Pittsburgh angst ahead!

I do feel some pity for Brian; after all, he's having to change his whole philosophy to accomodate Justin. He's experiencing the pangs of love and longing without understanding what he's feeling. I want to hug him, shake him, and laugh at him.

Cynthia is amazing! I enjoy reading her interplay with Brian. She and Daphne were my favorite "minor" characters in the show.

Time for the Pittsburgh meeting!

Tremendous chapter about friendship and love!

I adore Justin in this chapter! He's in such pain but he makes himself keep living. It makes me to happy to see him succeeding as an artist. No question that if he didn't need time to recover from Brian (if that were even possible), he'd be more than friends with Brandon.

It's really good to see Molly and Justin have an adult conversation and for her to realize how much she wants her brother as a friend.

I love how spending time with Gus (all unknowing who his father is) helps Justin get past his anger at Brian.

Brandon shines in this chapter and in the story. He's fallen in love with Justin but accepts his friendship, though not without hoping for more. I like Brandon's maturity in recognizing his loneliness and determining he'll change that.

Daphne is the best friend ever! She doesn't push Justin further regarding Brian when he's had enough.

"He could feel a heat beat in his chest and wasn't sure whose it was.. ." That sums up this incredible chapter for me. Deliciously hot and ridiculously romantic all at once even though Brian still resists the notions of romance and love. They've found "what sex should be when you love someone".

I'm looking forward to rereading more of their scorching and loving encouters.

Another quick review for this chapter because I Forgot to mention how excited I was, once again to have Todd make his appearance in the story. Love this incarnation of Todd and how he becomes friends with Justin!

This story is too addictive. Even reading it for the fourth or fifth time (I've lost count), I can't stop!

Justin and Brian are both such amazing, capable individuals. I really like how you both have Justin working for/with Brian and also succeeding as a painter.

I can just picture the look on Justin's face when he sees his painting on the wall behind Brian's altar-like bed. Boy, does it ever add to the eroticism of the moment!

Obviously, I can't stop reading yet...at least one more chapter. :)

I <3 Jessica! Poor confused Brian, not quite sure why Jessica visited. Too funny.

The way this chapter emphasizes the value of friendship and family is so heartwarming.

Love all Justin's different caretakers and methods for providing care! Great tale of  how Lilah's request for cure-all soup gets fulfilled. :)

I can't help but chuckle as Brian tries to rationalize away his feelings and convince himself all will return to normal after fuckin' Thursday. ;)

Damn, but I'd like to have a man as skiled as either of these. Of course, I'd never leave the bed, which might become a bit problematic, lol.

Reading this from Justin's perspective always makes me cry. Justin's so brave, trying to guard his heart while accepting what Brian's willing to give.

Brian, Brian, Brian. You're not only screwing with Justin, you're screwing yourself. It's far too easy to blame everyone except yourself. You'll come so close to losing Justin, but at least you will learn your lesson.

You'll learn to be a bit less manipulative with other people too. You're lucky Celia turns into a good friend.

Damn, those two are scorching hot together--every single time!

What a hoot that Andrew joins Lilah, Brian, and Justin at Essengy. Go, Andrew!

I do feel for Justin. He's so in love with Brian and has so little control over their relationship, seesawing between hoping that Brian will want a relationship after they fuck and despairing that he'll never see him again.

Really enjoyed this glimpse into a few "typical" days for Brian--not that most people could begin to cope and succeed like Brian. :)

The meeting with the Brown rep cracked me up. Yes, definitely insight that Debbie would appreciate, lol.

Such a great mix of teasing fun and erotic heat! Where's my fan? I desperately need to cool down, lol.

Oh, Brian, you idiot. You're falling in love. If love weren't such a foreign, long-opposed concept, you'd be putting Justin first instead of thinking with your dick. You'd talk to him about the job opportunity and let him decide what he wanted to do. After all, he's craving you just as much as you're craving him. :)

LOL, Sarah's repeated comment about the painting. Too much for Brian. Love how this develops when Justin talks with Sarah later in the story.

Wish I had one of Justin's paintings, especially the magical one, which will soon be a gift...

*swoon* Brian's comment about the painting feeling like their kiss is, indeed, ridiclously romantic. It's just going to take a diehard relationship-phobe like Brian awhile to understand what that means, lol.

In a story chockful of wonderful original characters, this chapter introduces two OCs that I love: Jason Kintzer and Jessica Harmon. Jessica's my absolute favorite, but her son, Jason, isn't far behind.

I love how Jessica meddles (and will meddle) in the best of ways in Justin and Brian's relationship. <3

Sure, Brian, it's so hot with Justin because of the anticipation. Keep trying to convince yourself.

Those two kissing is off the charts...as is pretty much anything to do with Brian and Justin, whether it's looking at each other, touching, kissing, or fucking.

Oh, dear, Brian, you've progressed to buying gifts, rationalizing that you can return them. You'd never buy gifts for a trick. Justin has clearly become so much more.

More spontaneous cumbustion! Who else could inspire Brian to suck them off in a public setting?

Love, love, love this incarnation of Rage and the "Fuel Your Rage" campaign.

Brian and Justin actually talk a little bit about their feelings for one another, almost without realizing they're doing so. Poor guys! All those awkard emotions they're not sure how to deal with.

I almost swooned when I read that Brian wishes he could draw Justin, to show him how enticing he looks dancing at Essengy.

Wish I had been there during that Drew Boyd photo shoot. Brian does love to show off his body! And it would unquestionably be distracting for everyone else. ;D

Brian and Sam are about to be stunned by Justin's paintings, even though they already have a good idea of the quality of his art, Brian especially.

Nearly time for an agent and a lawyer--the best of OCs.

This chapter is so erotic and caused more spontaneous cumbustion. :D

The boys are suffering from and reveling in the extended foreplay. Brian's going to discover that the wanting won't stop after one night.

Love how you worked in the scene in which Brian separates Justin from the tricks who were sandwiching him. :)

Justin and Daphne make such a great team, conspiring to figure out whether Brian is falling a love with Justin or not. Like a 14-year-old girl about love. Let's not tell Brian that, lol. I don't think he'd appreciate the comparison.

Poor Justin. So utterly mortified and horny. He's torn between never wanting to see Brian again and not wanting his internship to end.

How I want to have been the recipient of that kiss!

Too late Brian: There's no way to get Justin out of your system.

Yet another favorite chapter! Wonderful alteration of canon events!

Debbie, once again, gives Justin his Sunshine nickname.

I love how the follow-up article, taped to the diner's cash register, about Justin and the lingering effects of the bashing led to a good Samaritan (Who could that be?) sending him a computer and software. Brian and Justin may not have met under the lamppost in this AU, but their lives are, nevertheless, entwined.

Ah, Brandon! What a wonderful introduction. His development as a good friend and great guy is one of my favorite aspects of this series.
