I stayed up far too late on a school night to read this! I couldn't put it down. Talk about stretching from the highest heights to the lowest lows... My goodness, the pain in my heart at how Brian acted. It's going to take him a while to unlearn that self defensive behaviour that makes him lash out at the people he loves.

The sheer joy of sucking and fucking and kissing in the new year. The pleasure of Justin moving in with Brian.
Brian's breaking an oh-so-important promise to Gus. Brian's expectation that Justin knew that he wanted him to be Gus' second dad and his lashing out because Justin didn't argue. Brian's emotional and physical act of abuse even though he didn't hurt Justin physically.
Brian's apology is heartfelt but he has, nevertheless, broken Justin's trust nearly irrevocably. Although Justin spoke with Brandon and Daphne before Brian's heinous act, he betrays none of that to Mel, Gus, and Lindsay, keepting up the fiction of Brian's trustworthiness.
He loves Brian, but Brian has damaged him. I ache for both men, but especially for Justin.
