This was so full of emotions! I felt like I was inside the story from beginning to end. No! I am NOT a Brian/Michael fan and if I'm honest with myself, I felt that their co-dependent relationship was better off ended in the series. BUT I would have rathered that they just went their separate ways rather than to see Michael succumb to his injuries from the bombing. The way this was written, I could feel Brian's anguish at not being able to have closure and the only person who really understood that was Debbie. I thought it was most appropriate that SHE would be the one to get through to him. Lindsay really needed a muzzle and her own life the way I think Michael always did (yeah, I'll be taking care of that in my own work...LOL) but I'm so happy that in the end, Justin had made his own decision without thought for anyone else's needs and desires. Their talk at the end was poignant and touching, in short, so Brian and Justin!!

Yes, it was an emotional rollercoaster, and it was evil of me to kill off Michael but it seemed so right when I was writing it. You're right Deb was the perfect person to give Brian closure and the strength to finally admit his true feelings for Justin. I love how you take care of Lindsay, putting her in her place. It was important that Brian really heard Justin and what he needed for them move forward, communication was what was always lacking in their relationship... I really need to get back to writing, my muse hasn't been amused or enthused much recently... It must be all that dirt under my fingernails from gardening... he, he, he... Hugs Darling ~ Kathleen
