Putting on my lawyer hat here - that contract provision in Brandon's contract is unenforceable as to Justin since he never agreed to it. Also, the damages Gary is asking for are outrageous and no judge would even listen to that claim. Justin's a fool to pay that amount without letting his lawyer work on the matter. Now, taking off the lawyer hat . . . No, Justin, don't give up your dreams for that jerk! Lol. TAG

 I am really getting into this story Have a couple of questions though. I don't get why Justin would be giving them any money or selling his loft at all if he knows that they have no case because he didn't sign anything. Why would he even be asking them how much to get rid of them. And why wouldn't the lawyer tell him that they don't have a case?

Poor delusional Lindsey, she's still hoping to get Brian and she's lying to achieve this goal.

Emmett, Brian and Ted exchange about the "see the light" period is so funny.

Justin might have good ideas about Lindsey's pregnancy, but he has a hard time dealing with his soon to be ex-boss and ex-partner.

So the thunder-cunt is preggers huh? well we all know that Brian isn't the impending papa, so he rlies will definitely come back to bite her in the ass. I mean really...all it takes in a simple DNA test! Stupid stupid girl. Nobody is going to be fooled by her, at least if they are...it won't be for long. Her attitude towards Deb is shameful. And her assumption that brian will take care of her is....well, laughable! Debs parting comment about her health insurance was great! HA! stick it to the bitch! OH!! Wait!! Soemone already did!! lol. so is it Sam's or the Museum dude's?

Mel, Brian et al are finally piecing together everything about Lindsey and all her machinations. Justin is sure getting himself involved in a whole plethora of drama! good thing he's so supportive of Brian. Glad they will have eachother throughout this whole ordeal. they will need each other's strength I think.

OMG!!!!!!!! What if it's Michael's!? could she have gone into the aprtment and swiped some spunk thinking it was brian's? but he was out of town....anything left behind would've been old....huh. Maybe I'm thinking to much....Either way, I'm hoping it's not brian's. Not sure how it can be unless she really did get inseminated, but the timing is all off for that. 

Seriously girlfridn....I need an update like NOW to see what you have up your sleeve!! LOL!

Is that contract even legal? It can't be. contract law states if nothing else that all parties need to have knowledge. Can't be under duress...how can they possibly think they can get away with it! Legitimately it's only 5 days for Justin's contract, and Brandon's would be void as he can't force Justin to be a part of it I would think. Gary is going to be trouble. He's going to want to get Justin by whatever means. I had higher hopes for Brandon. I mean I know he wanted Justin, but I thought he's respect justin more. I knew he'd really try for more involvment, but to go to this level, to these extremes....I really didn't think he'd be this nefarious.

Heart is breaking for Justin. He's lost everything he's worked so hard for. I don't think Sap will end it there no matter how much he gets, but we can hope. I'm also hoping that Brandon faces reality that justin is through with it all, including him now. I'm sure Brian will do everything in his power to help out Justin. Hopefully Justin will accept at least some of the help offered. Perhaps even a job...

Again...frigging BRILLIANT chapter! I'm on pins and needles wondering what's going to happen next.

  I was happy to see another update but I was confused on something. When Brandon contract was renegotiatedoing how was Justin included in it if he didn't give his Permission? He didn't know anything about it and why would Justin be legally  responsible for Brandon termination and his if Justin Leaves? That should be the Saps problem and it should be Brandon that Ows the money? Justin didn't give his permission. Or am I wrong in what was Written? Lindsay is a real bitch that's for sure and I hope she gets caught soon. Looking forward to next chapter

Hey John... no you're not wrong in your assessment of what's written. It's a classic case of "What he doesn't know won't hurt him." Although it is wrong- both morally and legally- you have to understand that Brandon and Gary really thought that Justin would never need to know that Brandon had negotiated that into his contract. Neither one could forsee that Justin would want to be anywhere else but with the Troupe (in Gary's case) or with him (in Brandon's case). n their minds, Justin belonged to them. Neither one knows of why Justin fled Pittsburgh to begin with or if they had, they might have reevaluated the railroad job they are trying to put the young man through!

Justin has plenty of support in those around him. But having that support system and allowing them to help you are two separate things. Justin has been independent for so long, he may not know how to accept the help. As for Lindsay, Chillleeee she needs MORE than professional help! I would include a FIST and some HOLY WATER to exorcise that delusional demon, LMAO!

I do so love this story. You've got a strong Justin, a less emotionally stunted Brian, and Lindsay and Michael we love to hate! What's not to love! LOL.

But, not to get all legally technical or anything - and yes, I know it's fanfiction land, but save Justin's money!!! Unless he was a party to the contract signed between Brandon and Sap, they can't hold him responsible for anything. That's all on Sap and Brandon. (Love it that they both can get shafted. haha) 

Can't wait for more.

RONIIIIIII OMG! I'm so honored that you are enjoying this! Thank you so much for reading! I love writing Justin as a strong lead, equal to Brian in every way but still vulnerable enough to need emotional support at times. I tend to write Brian that way as well- with heart and intelligence as opposed to just one or the other. I've always enjoyed their dynamic so this is my chance to take certain elements of their relationship and build a story around it. It allows me to never have to write or box the same 'type' of Brian and Justin dynamic. 

Brandon and Gary's deal about Justin is a classic case of "What he doesn't know won't hurt him." Neither of them ever thought that Justin had goals and dreams outside of the Dance Troupe (Gary) or building a permanent relationship with him (Brandon). In their minds, Justin has nothing outside of them to look forward to. Neither know anything about Justin beyond his life as a dancer. They are wrong, of course, but it won't stop them from pulling out all the stops to keep Justin where they feel he belongs.

In the meantime, Justin has a bit of an issue all on his own that he will have to address. He is fiercely independent and has been that way for more years than he can remember. It will be interesting to see if he'll allow those around him to help him or if he is still willing to suffer in silence and let Gary and Brandon win at his expense physically or financially.
