Michael seems very egoistic. I hope for him that he will find a way to communicate with his kid.

Mel, Lindsay and Michael all NEED to get a damn grip. I'm glad that you are addressing the whole cheating issue with the two chicks. It's funny that all 'cheating' in the series occured from the same origin...NON-COMMUNICATION! People always say that one should be careful of the things they say but it is being proven that the things that AREN'T said are the most dangerous.

As for Michael.... he really is a jealous idiot. As always, he has no idea what he is talking about in regards to Justin and Gus. I can't wait for Brian and/or Justin to put him in his place. I always marvel that the 'family' called Brian narcissistic and Peter Pan when in reality it was Michael who was selfish and never wanted to grow the hell up. If one thinks about it, Brian was more of a grown up at 14 than Michael ever was at 30. He worked hard for everything he got and never expected folks to do for him. I think that's why I identify with Brian's character the most...  But I digress and that's just my opinion.

I'm looking forward to MORE of this. Hopefully Jenny will give Michael a reality check that will benefit HER in the long run!

happy Writing and HUGS,

~Nichelle

I Hope Mel and Linds are able to come to some kind of understand, if only for teh sake of the kids. whther the yare able to work things out or not is, well, up to you in this fic. ;) I honestly don;t mind either way. BUT...Mell has got to get over her Blame Brian thing, adn Linds has to get over her Brian fixation. At least she's starting to recognize it. They both are. the answers to their quiestions will be interesting to read about in their next session.

Deb's hands off appraoch isn't going to last long. curious if she does more harm than good, no matter her intentions.

I think Micheal will take some time to get used to being a father. He's used to older kids like Hunter or boys...like gus. I know he loves JR, but being able to interact with her on the right level will take some learning. I hope he gets ther soon. Hopefully between Ben and Brian, (and perhaps Deb) He''ll get there eventually. Either that or he'll turn into a little shit who once again starts blaming Justin for "taking away his honeybunch" *insert eyeroll here lol)

Am so thrilled that you update your stories so quickly! Such a rush to check statuses and seeing a new chapter. Makes me very happy!!

Am really really enjoying this!! A lovely approach.

Cheers,

Elaine

Author's Response:

I think that if you don't handle problems they come back. When Michael talks about being a father, what we see is that he wants to show off his kid. I mean look at what happens he argues at the hospital when JR is sick. He is mad when he doesn't know about relationship problems that aren't his. I don't care how many bombs you set off it should take more than a day to say take my kid to parts unknown.

Thank you for reading.

Mel and Linds need to talk to each other and not at each other.  Mikey seems to have forgotten that Brian was the one who basically financed him when he bought the comic book store.  Ben's hard at work to make money to do things with JR while Mikey passes her off to his mother.  A lot of changes are going to have to be made by everyone.

Author's Response:

I want it to be a huge group effort. Mel cut them out because she wanted to be the only one that mattered in her family. Problem is when you have to use outside people to have kids they are always going to be there. I was trying to let Michael be better but he had never raised a young child. I remember watching the show and other than the birth and being asked to donate he didn't bother with Gus. He isn't going to know what to do with a small girl. Justin we see with the kids alot.
