I truly am loving this story.  I'm glad that Cole's parents seem to be very supportive.  Hope dinner with Ben goes well.

Author's Response: Thanks, it makes me so happy you're enjoying this fic... Cole's parents are great, and even though they seems so different from Brian and Justin, they'll all grow to become very close... Hugs Hon ~ Kathleen

The girls having insisted that Gus be a lawyer was so rediculous.  An architect is perfect.  And Brian and Justin will back him up on that.  It's nice that Brian and Cole's dad went with them to their appointment.  Can just imagine how uncomfortable it would have been with Melanie or Lindsay.  Talking with Ben is a wonderful idea, but I agree that having Michael there would have the news spread faster than Michael could say "Maw!"

Author's Response: Oh God! I can just imagine Mel and Lindsay embarrassing Gus, what teenage boy wants to discuss his sex life with his mothers, it will be hard enough with their dads there... Ben will be a good support figure for them, helping them navigate all the changes and precautions they'll need to take... Michael, aaagggrrr... Can I just cut his tongue out now? P.S. I hope Ben doesn't tell Michael that he is going to the Loft. Michael will SURELY invite himself to tag along after playing 50, 0000 questions with Ben. And I suspect that since Mel and Lindsay know, Debbie will sooner rather than later since they will need someone to be on their side so they can feel justified in their anger. And who better than the guilt-tripping  'Grandmother Hen' of young and old gay boys everywhere?? SMH

Author's Response: Thankfully Ben understands how emotionally devastating it is to come to grips with being positive, so he'll be careful not to let on to Michael. On the other hand, Mel might feel justified in telling Michael, or Debbie. After all she been in training for years as a gulit-tripping mother hen... Hugs Hon ~ Kathleen

I love this story being all from Gus' point of view...

Author's Response: This is my first fic with Gus as the main character, as well as being a teenager... Later Sweetheart ~ Kathleen

Glad things are on the upswing for Gus and Cole. Typical of Melanie to try and 'assert her authority' by being hypocritical in the meantime. SMH....she never did grow that penis...LOL I'm glad that Gus is going on and living his life regardless of his mothers and their expectations!

It's good that Brian and Cole's Dad are meeting and going with the guys to their doctor appointment. As a parent, it's always good to have firsthand information but this is more than that. It's about a concerted effort to make sure Gus and Cole are okay.

Looking forward to MORE!

Author's Response: I guess Mel hasn't kept up with her testosterone treatments... I'm glad the Gus and Cole have loving fathers, that want to be involved with there health care, giving them all the support they deserve... Later Sweetheart ~ Kathleen

Good to see such positive support for the boys, even if it doesn't come from the girls. Very dssapointed in them both. As in I want to bitch slap them both kind of dissapointed. Gus reminds me a bit of Justin at the end, where he still wants to try with his moms, just like Justin did wnat to just give up on his dad initially. Wonder what the outcome will be for these guys.

Nice to see a bit of a bcak story for Gus and Cole.

Liking this one. A good perspective.

Cheers,

Elaine

Author's Response: You can't help but want to bitch slap both Mel and Lindsay. They need to accept that Gus isn't a little boy anymore, and he's in a serious relationship with a loving partner... Justin may not be Gus's biological parent, but he's always been there for him, and had a big influence on his development. I couldn't resist adding a bit on how they met, and that pic so deserved a place in this fic... Hugs Darling ~ Kathleen
