LOVED that stunner at the end of the chapter. Now the question is: Who's going to carry Baby Girl Taylor-Kinney? Should be an interesting discussion to have. LOL

Lindsay's back in jail? How? What happened to land her back in the pen after her parents' lawyer got her foolish ass out? I'm glad that she knows about Brian and Justin getting married. And her threatening to off herself... well somehow I think it's all a ploy for attention, or to get a reduced sentence by way of a Temporary Insanity plea. But we all know that's not the case, and that especially goes in the case of Dr. O'Malley.

As for Michael marrying that broad, Marryanne: I still say that it's good for Debbie and Carl that Michael is out of the way, even if Deb doesn't feel that way yet. He's either going to wise up and own his mistake in marrying her, or he's going to be trapped in a loveless marriage. I still hope that he'll run into several of his former conquests, which will surely throw a monkey wrench in all of Maryanne's plans. The public acknowledgement of just went on in Michael's former life would serve her right. Somehow, I also wonder about just how much she's told her father about Michael, and what his role is in all of this. She's obviously a manipulative and controlling little miss... oh, I forgot. It's 'Mrs.' now.

I loved everyone's surprise at the arrival of little Nicky. He's going to have lots of people around who genuinely love him.

I'm looking forward to MORE of this story. So here's to hoping your muse returns soon!

Gus and Justin are ADORBS and so much FUN! Brian can never claim that he's bored with any of his boys around.

UGH! Why in Beelezebub's drawers did Nancy and Ron bail Lindsay's crackpot ass out of jail?! And now they are trying to set her up on a date with Ron's business associate? REALLY, People? Their daughter is a CRIMINAL and here they are planning tea and fucking crumpets in celebration of Lindsay's return to Hetero-ville USA? Again, REALLY, People???!!!!! Hopefully, whoever the judge is will take into consideration the reason WHY Lindsay's rights were taken away in the first place and will be given all of the information surrounding her arrests. There's no way in all of God's green and purple earth she should have her rights restored or even be given supervised visitation. In fact, she needs to be slapped with several restraining orders instead!

As for Michael... remember that comment a few chapters back when I said he was weak-willed and easily-influenced? Well now, here's the PROOF of that theory! He sounds just like the former incarnation of Joan! But I don't think Deb, Emmett and the rest of them will have much cause to worry all that much. This particular issue has a way of working itself out, especially in terms of closet cases.

Even if Michael enters a relationship with Maryanne, he'll need several little blue pills to even get it up. And of course, she should probably find a dildo or five being plugged into his ass one night when he thinks he's home alone. I'll bet that will cure her theory of 'You can pray the gay away'. Stupid cow, and idiotic imbecile! Or better yet, they should show up at church one day, only to see several of Michael's former conquests.

Yep! Explain that away! Yeah... St-Stu-Stutter your way to a reason that you can get a hard on THEN, but not when you're in bed with Maryanne, Michael!

HUGS and LOTS of LAUGHS,

~Nichelle

P.S. I just might have to explore the theory of turning Michael straight within SOWK. You come up with some of the best twists! LMAO!

I'm so glad that Mel and Deb talked Justin into not cancelling the wedding. They're right that they will need something to look forward to after the funeral later in the evening. Such a sad situation to have to lay an innocent child to rest while the person responsible, still has yet to acknowledge any wrongdoing. I STILL want to punch Lindsay HARD!

As for Deb, I'm glad that she told Brian it wasn't his fault. Michael chose to stay in that situation no matter how many times he was warned. So there was only so much anyone could do, short of knocking him out and removing him from the apartment. Deb was still wrong to ask that Brian handle the situation instead of Carl, but at least she knows that he did all he could do to try to make Michael see reason.

Lindsay... Kathleen, I just CANNOT with her on all fronts! First, she's pissed because no one is answering her. I think she should be grateful that no one is. Then she completely insults the psychiatrist sent to evaluate her, acting like the entitled little shrew she is. I'm glad that Dr. O'Malley saw Lindsay for exactly what she is, and that Lindsay was so beyond pissed that she couldn't hide behind the 'Mother Earth' persona she's donned for years. Then for her to plead her case to Melanie, after all she's done... Again, Lindsay is LUCKY that Mel can't get ahold of her right now!

'No! No, I don't want him raising my son!' What a witch! It certainly wasn't hard to figure out who she was speaking of just then. But the fact is that Justin would never have done what Lindsay did, and that automatically makes him the better parent in everyone's eyes. Yet, all she can think about is how Brian must feel; how he must hate her. Really? It never even occurred to her to ask how Gus is during that whole conversation, especially before or after finding out about Jenny's death. What a sorry excuse for a mother, point blank and the period!

HUGS (and more tears for Mel),

~Nichelle

P.S. The wedding invitation is beautiful!

"Bad Moon Arisen" is RIGHT!!! Between Michael's chronic stupidity and Lindsay's idiocy, I don't know who is worse!

First, why did Deb- once AGAIN- have to involve Brian in Michael's lunacy? Why not have called Carl from the onset? I mean, she is dating a cop after all, right? And no one else would have been able to legally do anything, EXCEPT Carl who could have seen how Keith was keeping Michael prisoner in his home. But NO! She just had to call Brian, and for what? For Michael to still be the same hard-headed, stubborn asshole he's always been. Well it's no one else's fault but Michael's that he didn't listen, and Deb needs to stop running from pillar to post, trying to get everyone to solve his problem. He obviously was enjoying Keith's attentions... well, up until this last go round with him, right? Yeah, STILL NOT FEELING SORRY for Michael. Karma came back to bite him in the ass. As far as I'm concerned, Michael has been mentally and emotionally abusive for years to the people who were trying to save him from Keith; he just reaped what he sowed. The only good thing to have come out of the situation is that Keith is now dead, but... well, that's about all I can say there.

As for Lindsay... JESUS BE A PUNCH TO THE THROAT! Between the demands and outright LIES, I was angry. But for Gus and JR to pay the ultimate price for her GREED and NEGLECT has me enraged!! She deserves absolutely NO MERCY from anyone, especially the criminal justice system. Perhaps it's good that Lindsay is somewhere that she and the rest of the family can't lay hands on her. I really hope they throw the book at the bitch, and that she's introduced to Big Bertha and Big Mama in the worse ways possible!

My heart truly grieves for Melanie in this moment. I can't even imagine how she feels, even though you've written it splendidly.

Lindsay really IS desperate! Not only that but she's an idiot! I'm so glad that Brian has changed, and isn't willing to fall for her passive-aggressive bullshit this time around. He's seeing right through all that Maybelline, and the tearful tantrums are NOT going to work this time. Silly Ho!

Deb continues to be blind to Keith's machinations, and yet even though Michael knows firsthand now that it's all an act, he continues to stay in that situation. SMH if I was Michael, I would have followed Deb OUT of that door, instead of just silently closing it behind her. Both of them are STUPID!

As for more of Lindsay's woes... LAWD HAM TURKEY and GRITS CHEESE AND EGGS!!! I would say she's gone off the deep end, but the bitch is perfectly sane. She knew exactly what she was saying; a Freudian slip that I'm his mother was NOT. I'm glad Brian caught her in that bullshit. I definitely DO NOT TRUST THAT HO! It's funny how she's so fixated on what Brian is doing with his life with Justin while she's continuing to neglect her own life with Melanie. And then to make it even worse, she's so fixated on her fantasy of 'raising' Jamie, that she's being a total ass where her own household is concerned. Housekeeper/Nanny indeed!

Jamie is absolutely ADORABLE and so photogenic! I can see exactly why you chose that pic.

Poor, poor Lindsay (NOT) just can't handle the fact that she's not number one in Gus' life. If truth be told, she probably wasn't beyond getting breastfed and changed even as a baby. The fact that Gus loves spending time with his daddies should be a pleasure for her, yet instead she is stuck on loop of the 'Woe is Me' chorus. I don't trust that Ho, especially since Sidney had to let her go.

And now Keith is showing his controlling side, but does Michael get the message? NO! He's too busy basking in his fantasies of a perfect relationship, while still fantasizing about it being with Brian. You would think that he would have balked at the way Keith spoke about Michael's toys, he would have stood up for himself, right? I mean, when everyone else called him out on his obsession with them, he had diarrhea of the mouth even in reference to David. So shouldn't the fact that he's hurt, and at base scared, to say anything to Keith ring some alarm bells within that cemented brain of his? NO! Apparently NOT, since he just willingly went to bed with the asshole, even while he's being abused and told to shut up. And if that wasn't enough, he's burned and then ordered to fix breakfast because Keith is hungry, and THE IDIOT DOES IT!! Right then I would have started planning either my escape or Keith's murder. But no, not Michael! He's just too weak-willed and easily-influenced, even to save himself!

As for the rest of the guys, I'm so happy that they are moving on with their lives. They deserve all the happiness they can get!

Joan and Brian's conversation was really good, and showed progress on both their parts. It's cool that they are getting to really know each other beyond the turmoil of Brian's early life with her. I think that him taking John and Peter under his wing will be a very good thing for all involved.

As for Michael... Well, Emmett tried to warn BOTH him and his mother just what a dangerous asshole Keith is. But Michael is so damn gullible and willfully blind- while being lost in his fantasies of Brian- that he really can't see the bastard for what he is. That blissful ignorance is surely to come with a VERY high price. And everyone there, that knows what Keith truly is, knows it. Yeah, STILL not feeling the least bit sorry for Michael, especially since he thinks these little displays of abuse is cute. Keith is already beginning to isolate him from his family, and Michael can't- or is unwilling- to see it. That DUMBASS!

That's right, Justin! It was NEVER a contest, especially if Brian had to choose between him and Michael. There was absolutely no way Michael ever would have been able to keep up with Brian. He's whiny, clingy, and thoroughly uninspiring- basically the total opposite of everything Justin is for Brian. But with Emmett, and everyone else telling Michael the same thing, how can he continue to disregard the truth of the matter. But then again, that's Michael. If it doesn't fit with his narrative of how things should be, it's a falsehood on everyone else's parts.

Justin and Joan's talk was good. She really is growing, and without any ulterior motive involved. She really does seem proud of the life Brian and Justin are building, and is a lot less self-absorbed now that she's stopped drinking. It's great to see.

So Michael is gambling again, huh? Well, just like the last time, I think he'll deserve everything he gets from once again making the worse possible decision for himself. It's just too bad that Emmett had to pay the initial price for one of Michael bad choices!

LOVED the title of this chapter!

Lindsay has a helluva lot of nerve, trying to reprimand Brian for being so direct with Michael. She also pissed me off, when she walked into their home barely saying two words to Justin, but then asking if he wanted her to give Jamie his bottle. Bitch, get real! Then she acts like he doesn't have a right to be present during her attempt to berate Brian for his and Justin's big announcement! I mean, really bitch?! REALLY?!

Then she tries to slyly twist Brian telling her that he didn't want any more children with her, into Justin tricking Brian into having a child with him? Don't think I didn't catch that crap! And when that didn't work, then she switches the conversation over to how Brian treated Michael... I'm so glad that Justin put a pin in her tirade by passive-aggressively thanking her for dropping Gus off for the week, before Brian walked her out. The icing on the cake for me was Mel reaming her out as well. That was also long overdue in my book!

I'm glad that for ONCE Deb is not blaming Brian for Michael's false hopes, dreams, suppositions, and notions. I don't know how long it will last, but at least she's seeing NOW how delusional Michael really is in regards to Brian, and his relationship with Justin. It would have NEVER been Michael, and it's about time someone- once again- told him that to his face where he can't unhear it just because he didn't want to acknowledge the truth of the matter. I keep hearing Red Foxx's voice in my head saying 'YA BIG DUMMY' every time Michael spouts some of the idiotic crap in his head. It kinda makes me wonder what you hear in your head that you can write the fool so well! LOL

And I'm glad that part one of it was done in front of everyone so Michael couldn't UN-hear it, while the other part was reiterated in private. He's such an ass, yet he calls himself Brian's best friend! More like Brian's enslaver; Brian's hindrance just like Lindsay is! I'm sure she'll have plenty to say, but of course she'll be more subtle about her attack. After all, can't have her SET-YO'ASS-DOWN moment happen with all those witnesses, right?

All in all though, the post-baby shower idea was lovely, even though it became a pre-baby shower, instead. Brian officially knows that he is indeed LOVED now.

I'm glad that Ted and Emmett filled David in on Michael's current woes, even though they left out the part about Michael's gambling addiction. I LOVE the way Ted keeps taking Michael to task though. Not only is it good entertainment, but I think that Ted is secretly grateful that he'd never caught Michael's interests. I mean, look at what happened to the two men who did. David got so fed up with Whiny Wonder that he sent Michael back from Portland to basically save his own sanity. As for their return to the Pitts, I'm so sad. My elder sister has been living with the virus for over 25 years now, and THANK GOD this situation regarding Ben is one we haven't had to face as of yet. “I’m sorry, judge. I didn’t mean to give you the impression that I was Jamie’s birth mother.”

And I'm really happy that when their lawyer objected to Mr. Taylor being called Gus' other parent, the judge pointed out that it was as necessary as Melanie was being termed as his other mother. I'm glad Lindsay kept getting her ass handed to her in court. Michael just simply remains an idiot. I stll think Brian should have let the loan sharks do their thing with him. But then the idiot has the absolute NERVE to ask Brian to either share custody of his and Justin's son with her, or father another child with her? What the ovary-popping-HELL is she thinking?!

Michael is an entitled two-year old trapped within the body of an under-developed thirty four year old man! He's constantly throwing tantrums, and starting fires that he can't put out. Carl was absolutely RIGHT not to let Michael live in his house rent free! If it was just Ben and Hunter, I'm sure he wouldn't have had a problem, but Michael is a moocher of the worst kind!

I'm glad that Ben is thinking about what will happen to Hunter if something happens to him. Apparently, maybe he's realizing just how selfish and self-absorbed Michael really is.

As for his phone call to Brian, I just want to smack him blind and rip his throat out! How dare threaten to testify on Mel and Lindsay's behalf, when he does absolutely NOTHING for his own daughter?! I can't even fathom how he fixed his lips to say that.

Michael is FINALLY caught in his web of deceit, and there's no way he's getting out of it. Although part of me feels sorry for Ben in all of this, I can't help but wonder why he EVER thought he could trust Michael to actually be an adult? He had to know that Michael is not know for being responsible; that his continual mismanagement of money matters is almost legendary. So it would stand to reason that Michael wasn't going to do what he ought to do by paying the mortgage on the house AND the rent for the store. Only this time, instead of action figures (although I'm pretty sure some of the money went there, too), it's an out of control gambling addiction.

Then to top it all off, he threatens Ted to call the police on Brian if he doesn't return his toys? Joker, PLEASE! He deserves to lose everything, including Ben!

As for Lindsay, she REALLY needs a punch to the throat! So because you're not getting your way, you disregard an agreement about visitation and in the process punish your own son while claiming you would be a good mother to Jamie? Yeah, right! The bitch is surely unraveling! I'm glad Brian is taking steps to have everything legally spelled out so that she can't continue to do this type of thing. And while I feel for Mel, just like with Ben, I can't help but hold her responsible a little for not seeing that Lindsay is losing it.
