Maybe Mel has been refusing to let Gus spend time with his Dad, whom he has a really good relationship with. So when he gets a hold of the magazine, he presents it at dinner, and tells Mel she's had no right keeping him from Brian lately. How does Brian react to the news of Mel not letting Gus see him?

I really hope someone picks this up, it would be nice to see how Mel handles her past being thrown back in her face, the way she loves to do with Brian especially in front of Gus.
