Omg my heart broke in this chapter, I pray Justin will never have to go through that again.

Did this cause you as much stress writing it, as it did for me reading it? My heart was pounding.

Author's Response:

YES! Some of these chapters were brutal to write. I do love a good angsty story - especially in the depths of darkest winter - but this one . . . well, Poor Justin isn't saying enough, is it? And the really abusive parts I had to write about weren't fun at all. Especially since I was sort of dreaming about this story pretty much every night while I was writing it. But, that's the story that wanted to be written, so I didn't have much choice. TAG

So Bellweathers manipulations have started. I'm glad Cynthia knows that something is going on.

I'm sure it's going to get more angsty before it gets better but...poor Sunshine! He needs more loving from Brian. I do hope the sun comes out for you Tag...we need passion and intimacy babe!

Thank goodness that Cynthia has decided to be pro-active in protecting Brian and Justin's interests after hearing that spineless scuzzbucket Lapointe summoning Vance. It's clear from the foreshadowing during the last chapter featuring Satan's Twin Brother Stockwell, that he's going to obey and have Vance sack Brian. Definitely a perfect idea to start his own company but not the most fortuitous timing. But then again life rarely presents situations where you don't have to close your eyes, jump on with both feet and hope you don't drown in the tide. Yeah I'm a cynic which we've established awhile ago.

But back to the review: I felt so bad for Justin. My heart actually ached reading of the emotional, mental and physical abuse he suffered because his father is a homophobic idiot with powerful fairweather friends. Perhaps the meeting with B&O's VP will yield aome serious results- like paying Justin's contract off- and provide some opportunities to proceed with litigation against all involved in making Justin a PC to suit their own ends. If that happens the first and second orders of business is that Hobbs should be brought up on formal charges aince I imagine the statute of Limitations would allow for auch an action. Plus there's no SOL on murder so it would stand to reason there's none on Attempt Murder either. The second should be Craig having to answer an enforced prostitution charge especially since Justin was incapable of making the decision to enter into the PC world on his own. He traded his son for status and NOT because he lacked the money to pay the hospital bill but because of a political viewpoint and an alliance with a Senator. WHAT AN ASSHOLE <in my Ted voice>. Great work as always Tag!

Happy Writing and HUGS,

~Chelle
