I'm glad that Justin told Brian what Michael said! Big changes are on the wind FINALLY! As for making Emmett the Keeper of Kinney World, I LOVE that idea! I always thought of Brian and Emmett as the King and Queen of their little world with Justin in the middle as the Crowned Prince of Liberty Avenue. Ted and Mel would have become 'The Royal Counsel' in my imagination. Michael is the Court Jester and Lindsay the peasant wench always trying to find an angle into the King's Bed or the discarded mistress who thought more highly of herself than she ought. Hey, stop laughing- it could've happened if this was a historical romance novel kinda deal, LOL Anyway, this is just the perfect kind of dynamic for Brian and Em! I'm really looking forward to the Vermont trip and all of the future revelations/ understandings between Mel and Brian. It's about time!

(“At first he seemed really nice, but if your friends always talk about you like that, you need new friends.” Justin tells me.)  That right there always struck me as being what's wrong with Michael.  I love how you are correcting that in this story.  I remember that one of the messed up timeline had Ted a success and Mikey leaving Ben for Ted.  That is just so wrong.  Somehow you have to feel sorry for Ted if that were to happen.

Brian is being honest with Justin. good for him. Thankfully he no longer needs to hide behind those walls of his. Even though this isn't "his Justin", he still wants this Justin to be happy adn content. He really doesn't know when the other one will return to him.

Still have to giggle over Brian's interaction with Emmett. a hot and bothered Emmett is pretty funny, especially considering he thought that brian had no power over him. hehe. Poor boy needs to go get laid now. :) Emmett really is the perfect one to be the trustee for the policy. He would see right through any shinanigans the girls (Lindsey) may attempt. Good on him for walking away from the bitch fest that is most assuredly going on in the diner. Ted needs to get a life and stop sucking up to Michael. He's like Michael holdign onto Brian. Never gonna happen. (OH gawd,,,,could you imagine?!?! EEeeeeeeeeeeeew yuck! I seriously need to get that picture out of my head now *shivers* )

Cheers,

Elaine
