Brian can't feel guilty for this. How could it be his fault when someone else doesn't stop their car when they are supposed to. I don't like that Debbie is always assuming the worst of Brian.

It is common for survivors to feel guilty.

Oh no. We've lost Brian. Where could he be?

Brian doesn't handle hospitals or Justin being hurt very well. We shall see where he's off to soon.
